Want to ring in the New Year with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes? Well, good luck! Because these two have decided to throw a lavish party at Dubai's new Atlantis The Palm Resort.
There will be plenty to do for their guests as the artificial island called Palm Jumeirah has beaches, water parks, nightclubs and a NOBU!
Who is thinking about New Years yet? I guess when you are throwing party overseas, you have to do a little advanced planning...

My mother spent 2 years living in the UAE (Abu Dhabi, not Dubai) and I always wanted to go visit her. They are doing crazy things over there to attract tourists. It would be an amazing place to visit and I'm sure TomKat will have a great time!

No, I do good to stay up that long. I'm usually in my jammies curled up on the couch watching tv. I agree that Katie is looking a little masculine lately. I wonder if it is on purpose.

Totally OT comment here - It really bothers me that stars are all for using their power to better the planet and then they all support such gross over consumption/indulgence as man made islands. How are they making sure the ocean isnt being affected by dredging the sea to get said land for the island, where is all the light pollution from these massive buildings going, where is the energy coming from to keep an indoor ski mountain cold in a desert and on and on? If that isnt destroying the bloody planet I dont know what is !!
Tom and Katie are not environmentalists!!! They have never been. So Dubai is perfect for them and their flock of cultists!!
I think Katie's play will be over by the end of the year, at least for her. Someone else may take over but I'm sure Katie signed up for a short period.
On New Year's Eve, I will be in Florida, most likely sound asleep, since I haven't stayed up past midnight since I was 23!!! Sad, but true!!
Katie is supposed to be with the play until mid-January. Unless, of course, Tom tells her she has to leave early so they can have a NYE party in Dubai. Then, naturally, she will drop everything to follow him.
