While Nick Cannon was directing Mariah Carey's newest video for I Stay In Love, he literally had to control himself. You see, Mariah had to roll around a bit with a hunky actor and Nick was almost unable to watch. He says he didn't feel threatened, but could have "knocked him out at any point".
"We did it in, like, one take and I had to kick the dude out. It was one of those situations where I wasn’t intimidated but I could’ve knocked him out at any point.
"He was playing, like, a fictional character, but I could have done without it."
But, once the awkward scene was over, Cannon admits he enjoyed directing his wife:
"She’s very east to work with… we had no beef at all."
The song is due to drop October 28th.

i didnt know he could direct music videos, but he shouldnt do it if he's not going to be professional about it
Nick's job IS directing and he's more than capable. Can't wait for the video and song to drop.

As they say, if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen!!!!!!!!
Well, the couple that works together, stays together! My Hubby and I work together, and the car drives to and from work is our bonding time.
I never understood people who get jealous when their partner have to do a love or sex scene. You'd think they'd trust their partner. How childish.

He wasn't the only one....
The vid's up on her site now (in that little widget on the left), and I checked it out the other evening. ... Hmm. I think the review that I saw that called it both "moving and slightly ridiculous" summed it up best. I found myself regretting the fact that I'd just eaten before watching.
I'll refrain from commenting on the song itself (since, to be perfectly honest, 90% of her output since 1999 has **** me off — and this is coming from a woman who idolised her as a child, much as it pains me to admit, seeing as how her average fan apparently has an IQ trumped by their shoe size), but I would like to point out how her fragrance is featured three times within the first 16 seconds. I had trouble for a few moments figuring out whether the video is a four-minute commercial for the song, or for the fragrance.
