No Truth To Avril Lavigne / Deryk Whibley Marriage Trouble Rumor
Enough noise has been made about their marriage troubles for Deryk Whibley's camp to make an official statement to quiet us all up. Yesterday's attempt to show a united front backfired on Avril Lavigne and her husband because every media outlet called it for what it was - a publicity stunt to counter this claim.
Well, today we are being told once and for all that there is nothing wrong with the relationship.
"For the record, we strongly deny the inference of marital problems between Avril and Deryck
. We also strongly deny the National Enquirer claims of any other liaisons.
"Deryck has in fact been traveling through Asia performing with Avril as evidenced by the numerous YouTube videos."
Whibley added:
"I’m actually very surprised that so many media outlets picked this story up
. Since when did the National Enquirer become a trustworthy news source?"
What do you think? Is there trouble in Avril's marriage? Or did the National Enquirer just run with a story without checking its sources?

sometimes i think there is some truth to the rumors...maybe they are having issues & its overblown to them getting a divorce, but actually they are just spending less time together or arguing more...just because a couple fights doesnt mean instant divorce in all cases.

I think they'll be fine. I'll revoke my statement if/when a rep issues a divorce statement. I hope they work it out though!!

i dunno if it's true that their broke up..but i really hope their not...if their relationship is on the rocks i hope they put away their differences and try to save their 2 years of marriage,,....hopefully things will go well :)
