What is up with all these celebrities suddenly getting involved with cooking shows? First we had Gwyneth Paltrow and now here comes Victoria Beckham!
The Spice Girl will join her good friend Gordon Ramsay for a LIVE show on British TV (which I hope gets re-aired in the States) called Cookalong Live. The show teaches its viewers to cook an entire meal in under an hour. I guess there is no need to compete with Rachael Ray’s 30 minute deal over the pond. But if you’ve gone shopping for a cookbook as of late, you will notice everything in the US is becoming 30 minutes or less. Meals in 17 minutes. I would NEVER want to cook for Gordon. The way he spits out the contestants food on Hell’s Kitchen is traumatizing just to WATCH. Not that he would do that to a friend, but I would go crazy wondering if he wanted to!

she looks fabulous & i love gordon…i just dont believe this woman eats very much at all, so its odd that she is involved in cooking, i wonder if the temptation just kills her.
You know, I always wondered that myself…that so many of these skinny stars claim that they love to cook and yet it seems that they themselves eat next to nothing. But, when I started cooking for my family…especially when I am preparing a more extravagent meal for holiday dinners and such, I find that by the time the meal is ready, I am just not interested in eating it. Vicoria however, seems to have iron clad willpower when it comes to her diet, I am sure that helps!
I’ve read that before–that she loves to cook. I’m sure Gordon is totally different away from the TV….but I’d still be nervous cooking for him!
