Love it! The dress is a great color and shape for her. Her makeup also really compliments the whole look. The soft tones in her face let her natural beauty stand out against the bold blue. She is flawless. Here's a woman who never gets enough credit for her fashion sense.

Okay, so I love the dress, but not so sure it's the best color for her. Anne Hathway is a true natural beauty, but that dress would look absolutely stunning on someone like Nicole Kidman, with the blue eyes and blonde hair, it would definitely suit her well.
Now I'm sitting here trying to think of what color is "Anne's color"...black? She'd look really good in a soft rose colored pink maybe....

Not saying she has wide hips, but maybe this dress was made for someone with no hips! The dress draws the eye straight to that area and sadly she really does look hippy. Also, did anyone think this dress was various shades of denim at first glance?! Eek. Beautiful lady in the wrong dress.

Hips are awesome! She doesn't look fat in the least just hippy and hourglassy... we've seen too many images where women look like little boys to be able to appreciate the sexiness that is the feminine figure. Check out Marilyn Monroe and stars of her era or Bridget Bardot... hips hips and more hips. As long as they're topped by a narrow waist, they're all good! Side note though, love the shape and angles of the dress but I agree with you on the shades of denim... reminds me of my mom's jumpers from the 70's!

For someone who was 'blindsided' by her ex's goings on, she seems to be getting on with it pretty well. Please, I don't buy any of that 'I was a victim' crap. Oh, the dress, OK. Get a tan, Anne and stop thinking you're so smart that you can pull wool over people's eyes.

I don't think this is the best choice for her. Or any woman with hips. I dont think the wide stripes on the hips are a good idea.

Agreed - she is absolutely gorgeous!!! I just don't think the cut/style flatters her hip area. I think it makes her look "hippy" when she really isnt. I would kill to have her figure. lol

Even though I think the dress is kinda...eh, it looks great on her. If I saw this item hanging on a rack, I'd be like "blech", but she definitely looks terrific.

One more thing to add - now that I look at it longer, it is reminding me of that horrid denim strapless dress that Britney wore (and Justin wore the dorky matching denim)....aye yi yi....am I fickle or what?

I really dont like it, its the fabric more than anything, it just does not look good or hang well. We all make mistakes, shes a real beauty though!
The dress is well designed, suited for her long, lean body and the blue is gorgeous, although I am not sure it agrees with her pale skin.

hmmm not sure. Like the colours, not really crazy about the stripes on the waist/hips and think the bodice don't fit probably, and it's a tad long, but the idea is great. I like her, thinks shes gorgeous.

If you look from the waist up it looks fabulous. That thing going on at the waist though...why would you do that to a woman! I think her pale complection looks good with the blue color. And I absoluetly LOVE LOVE LOVE that braclet she's wearing.
She looks really pretty but the the two strips of fabric make her hips look HUGE.It a very bad dress for her figure.
The only thing I dislike about it is that it doesn't support her boobs enough. Not that she has to have a massive amount of cleavage, cause Anne Hathaway is pretty classy. But, if the bodice just was a little more fitted, it would be a 10 for me...right now I'm seeing 8.5. And she has a really good track record with me...
