She Can See Again!!

I am SO HAPPY that Katie Holmes has decided to cut Suri's bangs! Now that little girl can see without having to worry about pushing her hair out of her face. She rarely wears clips, so this is the next best thing.
Katie and her daughter spent the afternoon together in Central Park visiting a playground and stopping by a children's Halloween picnic. I'm so surprised Suri is walking around in short sleeves. It was pretty chilly today in NYC.

Good to see too that Suri again is not wearing playground-appropriate clothes like jeans, sneakers and sweater but a new dress and golden shoes besides not wearing anything that goes with the season and the temperatures! Katie must be seriously brainwashed by that crazy Cruise and not a good mother to boot. *rolls eyes*

There has to be a reasonable explanation why Suri is not dressed appropiately. Katie doesn't remind me of someone who wouldn't care that her daughter is freezing to death. The whole thing just doesn't make sense.

Nanea , a child can be comfortable in flats and a dress just as she could be comfortable in jeans and sneakers. Shes a little GIRL, not a boy, so she should dress like a girl.
Nothing wrong with jeans and sneakers sometimes, but you can be comfy wearing alternative clothing that is also comfy, and more appropriate for a girl.
Now that fact that she isn't wearing tights or a jacket- THATS wrong.

Thank you for saying this! As a little girl I NEVER wore jeans - hated 'em. Hated most pants as well. I only wanted to wear dresses, and guess what...only my patent leather Mary Janes. I bet if they made gold ones when I was Suri's age, I probably would have prefered to rock those instead.
My mom tried everything to get me to wear pants, and I wouldn't. People should stop saying that all little kids should wear jeans and tshirts.

Im in Toronto and I was in gloves today ! There is really something wrong when you allow your child out dressed this way ALL the time. Suri's nose is red for heavensake !!! Can someone please point out the jacket that Katie is holding because it looks like a blanket to me. There is one thing to allowing children to have a say in things but its another to not have any control of your child at all. I am sure I have read Tom say they let her do as she likes when she likes with no rules from the parents. So sad.
Suri is always dressed like one of the old ladies who serves coffee after church.

Katie, Suri is clearly adorable baby, now that you take people advice and cut her hair it is a great thing. Next you need to make sure you make her wear pants or thick stockings when you take her out in this chilli cold .

Glad she got the bangs cut. She must be warm blooded. Hasn't Katie learned the mom phrase of "Put your coat on I'm freezing".
It's like 40 degrees... and it's abuse when the child isn't dressed properly-- but the mother is.

i love the new haircut! too cute! i was also wondering why katie is always so bundled up in jackets and jerseys etc, but suri is always in dresses. poor kiddie - i hope she doesn't get too cold.

Despite the fact her parents creep me out, I think this baby is totally adorable.
Ok, now I know everyone already said that...but WHY don't her parents ever make her wear a jacket??? It's late autumn. Everone is wearing jackets, her mother included. And she looks like she's freezing...although she is probably used to it by now.
Also: does she ever wear pants? I don't think I have seen one photo of her wearing anything but a fancy dress!
they are sooo strange. so katie is dressed in warm layers and a coat in ny and suri has a summer sundress on and the SAME shoes she always has on. ewe i bet theyll try and make suri look like a man just like her ugly weirdo mom. i am soo digusted by katie and tom!

To see this little girl like that really concerns me. Goes to show that if parents have millions they can get away with child abuse. This is clearly child abuse and neglect. If you google you will find that Scientology have been accused of different cases of child abuse including inadequate clothing... not sure why or how this fit in their practices but they also claim children are adults in the body of a child and treat them as adults. If temperatures go below freezing and they still dressing this child like this someone should step in because her parents are crazy and brainwashed and the poor child has no choice.

Isn't the little one cold? Everyone else seems to layer up for fall and little Suri keeps her dresses on. Does not make sense!!?!

Oh come on the baby has a blanket and many babies no matter how you warm them up they take everything out from socks,shoes,blankets and sweaters. Most babies even prefer to be naked or just be on diapers.

Is it just me, or does she look a little... pale? Or is it just because it's supposedly freezing outside and she's in a summer dress? (I live in LA, it's about 90 here right now!)

first of all, if any of you are parents, i want to know who plays the role of boss...because there is no way that if its cold outside i'm going to let my child tell me what to do (a two year old at that) and watch her catch a cold/flu because she refuses to wear jacket...guess what, then we are not going out....or she'll throw her tantrum and eventually wear it outside....give me a break! so its okay for katie to be nice and warm while her kid is wearing summer attire. I understand and agree what most of you are saying that she's a girlie girl...so are my girls, the wear dresses to the park, but i also put leggings or tights under their dresses.....i also teach them what appropriate clothes to go out and play and just be a kid....yes, just be a kid and just have fun....something I don't poor suri gets a chance to do. everytime i see a picture of suri, i'm always troubled by her...she always looks so sad and out of it (of course not when she's turning her face from the paps - not all the time...hhmm?? isn't that something.....i'm sure the paps were close by this time....i don't know whose worse Katie or Tom....Suri, my prayers are with you that you grow to be a happy girl with no issues....cause it looks like you'll sure need lots of therapy sessions.....

OMG! Suri never wears pants, has a red nose, always wears those gold shoes, never has on a coat, needs a haircut, looks sad,looks depressed, never plays like other kids, mutant, she looks like she is freezing, she's being abused, she looks pale, ugly chunky little girl,her parents are crazy, etc., etc., etc. For heaven sakes people, listen to yourselfs!!!

Holy cow. I live in Upstate New York and it's been pretty chilly. My kids wore their winter coats to church yesterday. Suri's pale and her little fingers are red. She's cold. Mom's wearing a coat. What in the world? The kid next to her is wearing a winter coat. It's common sense. Even princesses need jackets. I don't care if they "don't want to" wear a coat. That's why parents are parents and children are children. My goodness. Get the child a jacket.
If this is a case of where she picks out her own clothes - then do what I do with my two year old (who, I admit - still has a blanket she drags around and is known to hit the bottle on occassion) - only offer choices that are weather appropriate. That takes care of it. Suri - do you want this dress, tights and sweater or this dress, tights and sweater?
