Seriously, how many paparazzi are going to get themselves injured in a mad dash to get the shot and then sue the celebrity when something bad happens?That’s like me blaming Britney Spears for the wrist problems I got when I had to blog so much because she was having a breakdown.

Anyways, a paparazzi’s court case versus Keanu Reeves started yesterday.
Shutterbug Alison Silva is suing Reeves, saying the actor knocked him to the ground March 19, 2007, with his black Porsche, causing injuries that led to $40,000 in medical bills. Silva’s lawyer said the photographer was out of work for months and now needs a $50,000 bone graft surgery on his left wrist.
Reeves claims the photographer tripped over his own feet.
Do the photographers really have a case? I mean, they are the ones putting themselves in harm’s way to get the shot!
What scum. They stalk these people and then try to blame them when you jump in front of a car.
It certainly does not do anything wrong man himself said he came into the car and now wants to enrich the expense of the actor …
Paps are not only a dime a dozen, but one step lower than cockroaches on the evolutionary chain! Half of the crap they do is planned for publicity. Britney has been the biggest target, but others get targeted too. I wish someone would post pics of a pap swarm thats following a celeb. It’s total chaos, paps yelling and screaming the celebs name. No wonder Jessica Alba never smiles.
So maybe Keanu shouldn’t have run him over. But then again – aren’t there laws about stalking?

Keanu didn’t run him over, he was cleared on all counts in the criminal case. This is only about money.

In an ideal world the judge would tell the pap he’s ( ?? with a name like Alison maybe not ) an idiot and toss the case out. But then again McDonalds did get sued for having hot coffee so the guy will probably will a million or so.
i think i remeber the case you are talking about. but, i think that person walked with money because mcdonalds had been warned several times about their coffee being too hot.
It just goes to show you how illegitimate these paps are! If they were actual “agency photographers” wouldn’t they be covered under some type of workers compensation insurance plan? They choose to be sell-to-the-highest bidder scummies and take no prisoners while doing it. But yet they’re SO SHOCKED when standing in front of a moving car gets them hit. WOW.
Such a scam. They fling themselves on cars and into the streets and then cry foul when they get their toes run over. Duh.
