Ahh, how I love lists! This time we're going with the top 10 long term Hollywood romances. Glamour put together a group of couples who have somehow managed to go the distance even with all the challenges that face these relationships playing out in the limelight.
In no particular order here are the couples that made the cut:

Um...Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas???????? You've got to be kidding me. Michael dumped his ex for Catherine so that definitely doesn't count. Same with Tom, he dumped his ex for Rita. People have such short memories.

I agree with this. I'd like to see a list of long-term Hollywood FIRST MARRIAGE couples. I realize it might be a little outdated since so many couples choose (or can't) actually marry. But, I would be interested to see if ANY of the men in the "great couples" are with their first wife....
How do their relationships not count? The list is for relationships that are standing the test of time (at least by celebrity standards)...no one said anything about how the relationships came to be.
How do you know all of this? Because the tabloids told you so? Or were you actually there? Or maybe you're just psychic?
It must be tough for you keeping track of all this AND being the Chief of the Morality Police :o)

I agree-I'm surprised Kevin and Kyra aren't on the list. And I'm sorry, but I agree that it doesn't matter how the relationships came to be. Michael and Catherine have been married for ages and make a great couple.
I want to see Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens on the list in 10 years. They're both so young and it would be really nice to see them grow older and still be together.
Seriously...I doubt they are even a couple now. ;)
I'd like to see Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner on the list in 10 years - I think they're a solid, down to earth couple.

There are several couples on this list that haven't "gone the distance" at all. Geez, is 3 1/5 minutes the test of time these days??? What is the criteria for going the distance, seriously?

First, Michael Douglas was already separated from his wife when he met Catherine Zeta-Jones. Second, Tom Hanks is not a widower! He and his first wife divorced in 1987 and have two children together. On another note, I think it's totally bizarre that Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward didn't make it onto this list! And I agree that Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick should be here too.

I am rooting for---- Jennie Garth and Peter, Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon, Ben and Jen, Tom and Rita and Courteney and David. There all lots of other couples I love, but these are definitly my favorites.
