Bones Star David Boreanaz Does DRAFT Magazine

While he's not insanely well known, the show Bones has a loyal following and man is David Boreanaz CUTE. So I thought I'd post this interview he did with Draft Magazine. The quotes are interesting and so random! David talked about everything from the drinking age to directing an episode of Bones to Abe Lincoln!
On people who think the drinking age should be lowered to 18:
"It's
a fine line and a slippery slope. You can sign up for the draft when
you're 18, so are you responsible enough to be drinking at that
age? I think what happens is you fall into the trap of drinking and
driving, and people think 21 is a more responsible age; more deaths will
occur on the road with younger people drinking and driving. I don't
really weigh in on one specific spot on that question. It's a very
hot button issue right now. I don't think it's going to
change, though; it will always be a strict 21 rule. Being a parent now, I
tend to lean more towards the 21 age."
On directing an episode of Bones:
"I
just enjoy being both in front of and behind the camera, producing,
directing. I love the whole process of it. I'm an avid
photographer as a hobby; I have a lot of old cameras and like to collect
certain types of cameras. It's something I enjoy and obviously, now
with a child, I'm always taking pictures. I've directed
before so it's just something fun and challenging. I don't
think consciously 'Oh, this is where my career is going.' I
just kind of do it. One would be foolish not to take the opportunity of
being fortunate enough to be on a show first of all, and then to be around
and learn from that so you can expand yourself."
On pondering what he's thankful for:
"I
do it all the time. I don't necessarily wait until the holidays. I
think it happens on a daily basis. I wake up, and I'm thankful that
I'm blessed with a beautiful child, a great wife, and the ability to
enjoy the freedom of walking out the door and petting my dog. People take
all that for granted – just getting up and brushing your teeth. I
value all this day in and day out, not just during the holidays."
On what historical figure he would have liked to meet:
"Abraham Lincoln. I'd like to know about
his values and how he felt about the unification of the country and
world. And I'd like to ask him 'How do you get through
doorways?' He was pretty tall. I'm in awe of him."
Three words to describe himself:
Tempestous,
gregarious, and artist.
The full interview will be in Draft Magazine for their Nov/Dec issue.

I am so surprised that show has a big enough following to still be on air. I haven't watched it so I can't say it isn't good or anything but I don't personally know one individual who watches it. It always shocks me how long it's been on for when I see ads for it.
you should to watch it it's really good !!

Thanks for this! Love Bones, love him :)
More people know him than you would think. He was on Buffy for 3 years and Angel for 5 so it's not like Bones is his first gig.
I love him in Bones, and I really loved him in Angel
Booth--Angel--Booth--Angel!! I can't decide whom I love more! :) I know lots of people who like this show. It's pretty good, though I think the writer's strike last year caused them to speed up the story arc too much and make a few false steps. I think they're back on track now, though. He's totally a hottie.
I love Bones and David is so goddamn awesome! Special Agent Seeley Booth is the kind of guy I'm looking for.
:D
David is so sexy, loved him in 'Valentine' and Buffy the vampire slayer.
LOVE BONES!! One of my fav shows! HE is HOT! Love what he says about being thankful, makes him even hotter!
