really crazy... funny how kristen responded to the many compliments of the italien guy... she seems really shy... but with a funny reaction :-)

oh, that poor girl. she is *very* shy and not comfortable in the spotlight. i think robert is also a bit uncomfortable but nearly as much as her.

i think it's sweet that when they pose together they both look comfortable.

I really have high hopes for the movie. I'm not expecting it to be just like the book but I hope it doesn't deviate too far off course. :) Once in a while Kristen seems genuinely shy but other times she seems to truly despise being asked anything about anything. I can't quite figure it out.

I totally agree with CapturingLife
Her behaviour in this interview just does not make much sense to me! Normally, she just seems slightly introvert. But here it's like it's not just shyness but that she is just REALLY reluctant to answer...like sth happened before the interview and she does not like the interviewer for some reason...

Kristen is definitely shy and uses sarcasm to hide it, but it just comes out as being annoying and bitchy.

Robert is shy too, which shows in his body-language,
but he manages to handle it better.

Kristen needs to learn how to handle herself.
If she can't do it, she should not be an actress or get herself a better contract.

I'm with you there! :) I play his songs over and over and over. Can't wait for the soundtrack so I can "travel" with the songs and not be tied to youtube to listen to them! LOL

watching all their interviews and reading their comments in the new vanity fair and entertainment weekly, i am sad to say that the obvious disdain the lead actors have for the original books is putting a serious damper on my anticipatory joy. neither rob nor kristen have anything good to say about the books and when asked about the movie are downright churlish. rob says he didn't even make it past page 40 the first time he read it and Kristen threw temper tantrums about the dialogue all the time. she told EW that when the studio asked them to put some humor into it - which definitely exists in the book- she got upset that they wanted her to be a "disney kid". the articles also show that the both of them take themselves too seriously and are self absorbed.

i'm just upset that something i love so much has been put into the hands of people who clearly hate it. makes me nervous for the film.
