Cha-ching!

Michael Phelps deserves everything he gets. That boy is a FISH and did great things for this country during the Olympics. Looks likehis latest venture involves a sports drink that promises to give you gills if you drink it.

Eight time gold medal winner, Michael Phelps, launched PureSport, his
sports performance beverage of choice which he used to train for and
during the Olympics, at Sports Authority in Chicago, IL on Saturday,
November 1.

Yay 4 Michael!! :) And stop with the hating “ugly” comments. I think he’s really cute. Your definition does not define an individual, it only defines your one opinion.

  2. Tiinnaaaa says:

So, you’re saying he did great things during the olympics, but then disagreeing with Vera…? Then who were his achievements great for? Obviously himself, but he was representing America, wasn’t he?

  3. dyinggiraffe says:

i think he’s goofy looking, but totally sexy. <3 michael phelps.

I was at the signing too. He was a great guy and stayed an extra hour to sign as many autographs and meet as many kids/fans as he could.

By the way, PureSport is very healthy, contains no preservative, caffeine, or any questionable banned substances. It also has the least amount of sugar and lots of high quality protein. It is NOT an energy drink. It’s a sports workout and recovery drink for athletes – not martini’s.

”ugly ” comments are mere truth and there is nothing ugly about them. But I suppose you want to believe everything and everyone. Start growing some brain cells.

Just because this is the”best” out of the rest (yeah, that is what all of them say and then we get a report they put some dangerous crap there) it does not make it the best or healthy. Of course he would be nice and stay extra 5 hrs in needed. He is making money on gullible idiots.

This guy is sooo ugly I really don’t know how girls find him sexy. Just looking at him grosses me out. He’s a great athelete and THAT’S it.

Wow, what a LOSER! Maybe he could endorse the latest BONG products. . . thanks Michael for making the USA look like a bunch of dopeheads. I hope you truly GET EVERYTHING YOU DESERVE, just like the first sentence of this stupid article says. PureSports – get a better person to endorse your products.

  9. Dylan says:

the person who said to get a better person to endorse your product fuck you! He is the greatest Olympian of all time and people make mistakes. I bet just about 2/3 of all college kids have smoked pot at a party before. so what i’m trying to say is hop of his dick i have met him personally and he is a great guy he just has bad social skills.

  10. eddie says:

    Stud…one of the best athletes ever—top 5.

  11. Anonymous says:

good athlet-yes, stud-please. He is not good looking and he has an oddly shaped body with long torso and very short legs. Hopefully he will not turn out to be like Marion Jones.

Could we have some perspective, here? While Michael Phelps did do an amazing job, I wouldn’t go so far as to say he did “great things for this country.” To do so would put him up there with people who actually have done great things for the country. Say, for example, many of the troops. Or those who have fought for voting rights. I could go on.

Phelps swam his heart out, sure, and it was awesome to watch. I celebrated, too, when that record-breaking medal was put around him. But it didn’t save the economy, it hasn’t cured political divisiveness, and it hasn’t solved the problems of health care or job loss in this country. It did, however, increase the dollar amount of his endorsements.

So sure, Phelps did great things. In swimming. But can we reserve the “great things for our country” for those who really have?

    I sooooo agree!!!

  16. Tiinnaaaa says:

Don’t take things out of context like that. It’s stupid. Vera SPECIFICALLY said “did great things for this country DURING THE OLYMPICS.” Either read it more carefully next time, or don’t bother posting.

  17. Anonymous says:

I did read it carefully and I stand by what I said. He did do great things. His athleticism is unparalleled. But I do not think he has done great things for this country. That statement is overbroad.

  18. Anonymous says:

    I WAS THERE!!!
I ACTUALLY GOT A PIC WITH HIM AND A AUTOGRAPH =]

now immolate yourself in his presence

  20. Edward says:

    Michael Phelps is my hero…

  21. Anonymous says:

yes, and now your hero will be making millions on selling unhealthy drinks to the public. And you will be buying it and praying to him as he is your god. Go ahead immolate yourself.

  22. gia says:

sure, he is a great athlete, he worked hard & was victorious, congrats to him…but thats it…i am tired of seeing his ugly horseface & hearing his obnoxious lisp. if that sounds unamerican then so what. i am so over it.

  23. Dalila DeCarvalho says:

Michael Phelps complete deserves everything he gets. He worked extremely hard his entire life to reach where he is today. He had a loving family to support him and make his dream come true. People who disagree are haters.

plese do not create idols out of regular people. even if they are great athletes or entertainers. They are not better than you. Do not get blinded by the artificial light bulbs that create halos around ther heads.

  25. Anonymous says:

yes, we need 10001 sport drink, that is not healthy and full of sugar, caffeine and a lot of hype. Why cant people make money on promoting good causes and good products? Money blind everybody so much that they are ready to advertise anything. All the ethics an morals get erased. People who are celebrities responsible in some ways for what they advertise because they influence millions who are not ready to truly research and do due diligence for what they buy. He already has tons of money; nothing is enough for these people no amount of money can satisfy their greed.

  26. Anonymous says:

you were given brains. start using them instead of being fed by what TV brings you. Create no idols.

  27. Ha says:

Nobody said he was a hero. He did great things as an Olympic-caliber athlete on behalf of our country. Let’s not get all up-in-arms over it. Dear God.

  28. Anonymous says:

    agreed

  29. Ha says:

Anyone who achieves something amazing on behalf of the United States is doing something great FOR THIS COUNTRY. There are obviously different outlets for that, but let’s not negate the dedication he put into this not only for himself and his personal goals but FOR THIS COUNTRY.

  30. Ha says:

    F*ck off. Seriously.
