Movie Sequel News!!

I know we’ve been hearing some buzz about the Sex and the City Movie, but now we have an official confirmation from Kim Cattrall that there will absolutely be a sequel.

“Yes there will.”

Short and sweet – but gets the point out.

UPDATE: I found the real quote:

"Yes, there will be a sequel. We will do the sequel next summer. We wanted to (film) the first time, and now we’re hopefully doing it
again for the second time. It is difficult
getting everybody who’s so incredibly busy all together at the same
time".

And for all you vampire fans (the gruesome scary ones – not the romantically depicted), 30 Days and Nights is coming back with a part two as well. I won’t post a picture from that movie because the last time I did I got hate mail from mothers all around the world claiming their children did not enjoy the unexpected scary shot. Here are the details:

Niles’ original comic book series actually spanned three issues, so
there’s already a continuation of the story out there, titled "Dark
Days". Essentially, it involves Stella (Melissa George) publishing an account of what
happened in Barrow, Alaska, which brings her to Los Angeles. Her
travels catch the ire of regional warm-weather vamps, through whom she
learns there might be a way to bring her slain husband, Eben, back from
the dead. Not a bad extension of the story if you ask me.

I’m absolutely up for both! Although is my memory serves me, I’m not sure I LOVED 30 Days and Nights. But I did like it enough to be excited about a sequel. Especially since there is a way Josh Hartnett will get reincarnated. But will he be a good witch or a bad witch? :)

Ummm.. so I am not commenting on the SATC 2 info, but more on the 30 Days of Night info.. first off, Vera, a good witch or a bad witch for Josh? No, no, no, he was turned into a vamp, not a witch. So really, would he even be able to come back at all? I don’t know, wouldn’t make too much sense, seeing as how he was buirned to ashes and all his ashes blew away in his wifes arms in Alaska.. figure that one out I guess. Maybe Sarah Palin scooped them up.. molded them into a bullet, and shot at a wolf from her helicopter. Then Josh could come back as a wolfman/thing.. kinda like in Underworld… wow, all from that…

That’s terrific news about SATC. I’m curious to see where they go with their characters. I must say I’ll have trouble looking at Evan Handler (Harry) in the same way after watching him for all this time on Californication. LMAO

I’m absolutely delighted about SATC, but I wonder how they’ll go with the characters. The movie ended perfectly and I didn’t think there would be room for more development. Unless they take a different spin and focus on Samantha relocating back to New York or something like that. Regardless, I’m SO happy about it. I just love SATC, it was my all time favourite show. Can’t wait!!

Bah for SATC. Boring drivel. I AM, however, completely and totally delighted that they are making a sequel to Thirty Days of Night. JH is the MAN!

Very happy about SATC. As long as they treat the script with TLC, we’ll be thrilled with the results, I’m sure. Can’t wait.losethatgirl blog

I was very disappointed in the first movie. I doubt I’ll see the sequel.

I won’t see the second SATC movie either, didn’t care for the first one.

Oh I’m sure I’ll go see SATC 2. I LOVE the bridesmaid dresses, they were the best part of the movie fashion, IMO. But I’m really happy about 30 Days of Night, that was really good!
