i like 'if i were a boy.' this is the one i just can't get behind. pardon my ignorance, but what is a halo? beyonce may get on my nerves sometimes but the girl beautiful and she has talent. that just can't be denied.

She needs to take a break from showbiz IMO. She's over saturating the market. She can sing but I get tired of hearing about her new single every five minutes. Give the public a chance to miss you, B!
true but nobody in holloywood is more over-saturated than katie, tom, suri and the entire jolie-pitt clan. i could stand to use a break from all of them. these celebrities wear themselves out. i compare it to food: if i continously eat something, it is just a matter of time before the sight of it makes me sick.
I like this song, but I like Beyonce. Some of her new ones I have to take time to warm up to, honestly, because they've been a departure from what I'm used to. She has that other one that leaked, Broken-Hearted Girl, that I listened to on another site (http://www.dishiness.com/?p=1734 -- if you want to hear it, too). Again, I think I'll like it after a few listens, but the first time through I wasn't so sure.
The pussycat dolls have a song named halo too! I like that one better I think eventhough they are not really comparable.
I LOVE 'if I were a boy' and I actually like this one too. HOWEVER, the beginning was sounding somewhat like 'if I were a boy'... IMO anyways.

Ugh her new songs are crap! Her voice in this one makes me cringe at parts. I know she can sing but good god this is not a good sound for her voice. I didn't make it past the beginning. She writes so much better out of her relationships... not that I think she and Jay Z should break up but she definitely needs some new experiences and to take a break for a while. And the If I Were A Boy song.... sorry B but Ciara does that kind of song soooo much better because it sounds good and I can relate to it.
Ok first off all Ciara like a boy. Not a good song. idea is there but no message, not deep at all. Beyonce song If i were a boy went there and has a message...a powerful one. Unless you don't like songs with content.
If an artist ventures away from a style that they are normally known for it means they are willing to take the risk and branch out and be vulnerable. That is a true artist. Not like Ciara where every single one of her so called popular songs sound exaclty the same. JLO much!
I think this is the song that was meant for Leona, but because of her schedule whoever wrote it got tired of waiting and gave it to Beyonce instead.

Um...Beyonce didn't go to the funeral......one of J.Hud's CLOSEST friends confirmed it himself (the guy named James thats ALWAYS with J.Hud). She didn't even send condolences...but whatever.............I LOVE HALO. Best Beyonce song ever in my opinion!!!!

i love B! I thinks she is amazing & one of the hardiest working women in show business. She is doing her thing & i just feel many wish they were in her shoes. Plus, she stuck in there with Jay & they make an awesome couple. Whatever she touches turns into gold or should i say $.. My husband hates her & think she is a fake, but i admire her & will be her fan always. We love u B!
I have been a fan of beyonce since destiny child. It has been a joy watching B mature over the years specially w/ her vocals. I don't think anyone leaving a comment on here knows beyonce personally therefore I honestly believe it is unfair to judge who she is if all we know is "sasha fierce" feel me? As far as her album hands down I prefer "beyonce" over "sasha fierce". "If I were a boy" "halo", "broken-heart" and ave maria(which I think is so original!) are my favs. They aren't the usual beyonce hits but I think they showcase her outstanding vocals with the raw instruments n the background. Music is an artistic expression and B has chosen to reveal part of her life through it so if u don't like it, turn off the darn radio, get off the web, and don't buy her cd! Its that simple! To B keep being the icon that you are!
Beyonces mum said at the CADDILAC RECORDS premiere that beyonce did indeed reach out to jennifer Hudson and actually rang her to see if she needed any help of any sort. . . Also this song "Halo" ROCKS ! i lovee it ! and so does everyone that ive showed it to. . its a HIT ! and its gonna be her 6th no.1 hit. . i believe that !
I think bey is 1 of the gr8st artistis alive. Leona is boring if u ask me. Her song run wud have been much better if it was done by some1 lyk beyonce. Im sure who ever wrote halo is glad it ended up with bey. hatters u'l keep on hatin 4eva coz bey is goin to stick around.
