First Listen: Beyonce's Halo

Here is Beyonce's new bonus single, Halo. What do you think about the sound? I like it SO MUCH MORE than, "If I were a Boy". I just can't get behind that one truth be told.
She really does have a beautiful voice. You can feel it when she sings.

i like 'if i were a boy.' this is the one i just can't get behind. pardon my ignorance, but what is a halo? beyonce may get on my nerves sometimes but the girl beautiful and she has talent. that just can't be denied.
a halo is the ring of light around angels' and holy figures' heads :)

She needs to take a break from showbiz IMO. She's over saturating the market. She can sing but I get tired of hearing about her new single every five minutes. Give the public a chance to miss you, B!
true but nobody in holloywood is more over-saturated than katie, tom, suri and the entire jolie-pitt clan. i could stand to use a break from all of them. these celebrities wear themselves out. i compare it to food: if i continously eat something, it is just a matter of time before the sight of it makes me sick.
I like this song, but I like Beyonce. Some of her new ones I have to take time to warm up to, honestly, because they've been a departure from what I'm used to. She has that other one that leaked, Broken-Hearted Girl, that I listened to on another site (http://www.dishiness.com/?p=1734 -- if you want to hear it, too). Again, I think I'll like it after a few listens, but the first time through I wasn't so sure.
The pussycat dolls have a song named halo too! I like that one better I think eventhough they are not really comparable.
I LOVE 'if I were a boy' and I actually like this one too. HOWEVER, the beginning was sounding somewhat like 'if I were a boy'... IMO anyways.
Ugh her new songs are crap! Her voice in this one makes me cringe at parts. I know she can sing but good god this is not a good sound for her voice. I didn't make it past the beginning. She writes so much better out of her relationships... not that I think she and Jay Z should break up but she definitely needs some new experiences and to take a break for a while. And the If I Were A Boy song.... sorry B but Ciara does that kind of song soooo much better because it sounds good and I can relate to it.

Ok first off all Ciara like a boy. Not a good song. idea is there but no message, not deep at all. Beyonce song If i were a boy went there and has a message...a powerful one. Unless you don't like songs with content. If an artist ventures away from a style that they are normally known for it means they are willing to take the risk and branch out and be vulnerable. That is a true artist. Not like Ciara where every single one of her so called popular songs sound exaclty the same. JLO much!
I think this is the song that was meant for Leona, but because of her schedule whoever wrote it got tired of waiting and gave it to Beyonce instead.
my condolences to JHud and her family! top bad Bey didn't have the decency to call Jennifer and express her prayers! It is a known fact that Bey is selfish! Did not listen to the song, but yes it was meant for Leona!

she sounds good whatever she sings. To me it doesn't matter what she sings or how she sings it. it comes out amzing. have to agree though sounds like a leona son. beyonce is and always will be the ish.

i can see why leona was picked for this song its soooooooooo her type but because again of her bad management team once again she has missed out a beautiful tune she won two awards at the WMA, which beyonce attend but she didnt like she didnt attend the MOBO, where again she won

Um...Beyonce didn't go to the funeral......one of J.Hud's CLOSEST friends confirmed it himself (the guy named James thats ALWAYS with J.Hud). She didn't even send condolences...but whatever.............I LOVE HALO. Best Beyonce song ever in my opinion!!!!

Halo, If i were a boy and maria are all beautiful songs. Her voice is the voice of gods! I listen to it over and over at the moment its beautiful. I say, if someone dont like the artist then just dont listen to them. Art is there to create a response anyway.
i love B! I thinks she is amazing & one of the hardiest working women in show business. She is doing her thing & i just feel many wish they were in her shoes. Plus, she stuck in there with Jay & they make an awesome couple. Whatever she touches turns into gold or should i say $.. My husband hates her & think she is a fake, but i admire her & will be her fan always. We love u B!
