Nicole Kidman Wants More Kids
Nicole Kidman wants more babies with Keith Urban, but it doesn't sound like she's doing anything to actively pursue getting pregnant. And she wouldn't answer the question as to whether she would consider adopting again. At the Glamour Women of the Year Awards she said,
"I would love more children - but that's up to God!"
When asked who inspires her, Nicole responded,
"My mother. When you're raised by a woman who has strong
beliefs and is opinionated and compassionate – you're lucky! I will
always give her credit! If you take care of the women in the family – the mother in the family
– then the children will be taken care of," she said. "We can all
attest that the mother is the heartbeat of the family, and if you take
care of her, everybody does well."
I think Keith probably does a great job of taking care of Nicole. She sounded adoring when she addressed the crowd and talked about her husband.
"Three and a half years ago a man came along and said, 'I'm going to
take you to Tennessee.' And he took me down there and he said, 'I think
you deserved to be loved. Let me love you, let me give you a home, and
let's make a baby.' So thank you, Keith Lionel."

She's like Blanche DuBois. She has retreated mentally into a fantasy world where everything is shiny and perfect like in women's magazines. Everything is great this, and wonderful that, and I'm so grateful and I'm so happy. You know who she sounds like? Tom Cruise.

I find it soooo weird that she has those other kids that live with tom cruise but she never acknowledges that. it's like she's not their mother at all.....divorce or no divorce, doesn't she feel a responsibility to them at all??
I think she rarely talks about her two older kids because that's what the little crazy cruise wants. And she has to play nice or she would lose contact of Isabella and Connor. Kidman is a non-believer of CoS; that's how it works.

ITA, ScientologyKills - she gets a lot of flack for those two kids, but I really feel they've been kept from her since she's not part of that cul-uh, religion.
She said in an interview a few years ago, that Isabella HATES when she talks about her in interviews. She doesn't want to be in the spotlight at all. She also said on Oprah, that Connor worked on the movie Australia with her, in the outback for months. She also said that Connor keeps begging her to have a boy. They spend a lot of time with her and has joint custody of the kids, but unlike Tom, she doesn't publicize her time with them. She does a great job keeping their life with her private.
I do love her and think she's extremely beautiful but I always find her interview very scripted.
Kidman has stated many times that she can't comment on the private life of her children because they don't wish her to do so. When Nicole was married to Tom, for ten years, there were only about 4 pictures of the older children ever seen by the public. Nicole is very good at keeping her family life private.
Nicole gives just enough information to satisfy the curiousity of the public, while remaining true to her wish for privacy. If she sounds scripted, so be it, her job is to make movies, not divulge her private life.
The fact is none of need to know, it's none of our business.
I have read that she chose to disconnect from the two older kids. Come on, wouldn't most mothers fight tooth and nail to see their children? I agree with the other posters that talked about Nicole living in a fantasy world and sounding scripted. I believe the rumors that she was never actually pregnant. She is a weird woman.
maybe I am narrow-minded, but who talks lik that? It like she lives in one of her movies. It's like when Nic is sad, she is the saddest person in the whole wide world; and when she's happy, she's got to be the happiest person too.
