Pink, How Does Your Garden Grow?

Pink, How Does Your Garden Grow?

Would you have ever pegged Pink as a gardener? I don't think I would have put those two ideas together. But nevertheless, the singer is all organic and grows vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers.

"I have an organic vegetable garden with four raised beds. I grow cucumbers, tomatoes, melons, jalapeno peppers, spinach, kale and chillies. I also grow sunflowers, marigolds and herbs like basil and marjoram. I like to get out there in my wellies. "It’s very punk rock to be out in a yard growing your own food."

I have a friend who takes care of a garden in her backyard and says it's very therapeutic. My town is filled with wild bunnies (I'm not kidding), so something like this wouldn't fly.

I have always loved the fact that she is a gardener. (I remember reading about that.) She seems to be so real and down to earth. Personally, I don't think I would be much of a good gardener. I'm having troubles keeping my little basil plant alive :D However, I can imagine growing your own veggies is relaxing and fun at the same time.

a truly punk rock person wouldn't be a celebrity, because the punk rock movement is all about anti-establishment, it is the antithesis of hollywood and celebrity culture.

Vera- If you want to garden but keep the bunnies away, grow some marigolds around your garden... They keep all sorts of pests away!

Pink seems to have so much chemistry with her guitar player. I wonder if they ever get/got together.

Marigolds do work wonders. And I spray hot sauce mixed with water on my plants to keep the bunnies away. They don't like the taste. After a couple weeks of spraying, they stopped coming by the garden.

RE: the guy comparing Pink to being as punk rock as Avril Levine. Dude, punk rock was all was about being different and doing the opposite of what is considered the "norm" It was about going against the establishment, the norm. And in these days where in America, "Fast Food" is considered one of the four food groups, growing your own vegetables is very punk rock. To link compare Pink to Avril is ludicrous.. Pink has more talent and diversity than some manufactured, overhyped radio gaga type like Avril.

LMAO at Pink being Punk Rock. That is to say that The Foo Fighters are Punk Rock.....LMFFAO She's never been or will ever be punk rock, she had a few good songs, but girl you are as POP as they come. Please re think about what you say. Your new song is a ****ing headache, you are NOT a rockstar, you are a popstar. Stop getting things twisted.

dont know about gardens but she has been wearing dresses lately. I am growing tired of her ''strong and fierce' songs regarding break ups and girl power. It seems so irrelevant.
