America Ferrera Takes On New Independent Film

America Ferrera has signed onto an independent film focusing on the war in Iraq. Tentatively titled American Tragic, Ferrera will play the wife of a young soldier, played by actor Ryan O’Nan, who has trouble readjusting to civilian life when he returns to his small hometown.
A story I am sure so many of our troops can relate to.

Ferrera will also executive produce the project which means big bucks if the movie is a hit. She is scheduled to begin production in February in New Mexico.

I have such a new found respect for her ever since I read about how hard she works on the set of Ugly Betty.
