Beyonce Would Have Never Sold Wedding Pictures
No big surprises here. We all know that Beyonce and Jay-Z's relationship is one of the most private out there. Talking about the rags paying out big bucks for celeb wedding photos Beyonce said,
"Now, they offer crazy money that's just ridiculous. But in the end, absolutely not. It's so not worth it. If anything, if you wanna put something out, then put it out, not for (money)."
She added,
"We worked really hard at keeping it private. I've always been this way, and he's always been this way, so that's why we complement each other. We always knew that it would be private and quiet, for all the right reasons."
If you were famous what would you do: Sell the wedding/baby pictures and keep the money for yourself, sell and donate the money to charity or keep everything private like Beyonce?

I'd keep it private. If magazines are willing to shell out millions for photos chances are you don't need the money anyway because you are that big of a celeb. However, the charity thing is really nice. I value my privacy though and don't need millions of people analyzing my important life moments just as I do on this site haha.

keep everything private. those memories are just too precious. if i was a celebrity, my life would already be an open book. i would want something for myself; something i could show my kids one day in a photo album--not on the cover of a magazine. i donate to charities all the time and i am all for helping out and doing my part but at the same time my family aren't marketing tools.
I would try and keep it as private as I possibly could. Especially the baby pics. Would not pimp my private life out not even for charity. If I had that much money I would be donating a lot to charities anyway.

I would choose to keep my private life private if I were a celebrity, since so much of my life would be public. *** On another note, is it just this pic that makes Beyonce's eyes look wonky? She's so pretty, and I've never noticed it before, but it is really buggin' me - I just can't look at anything else!

I would totally sell out. However, I say that now because A. I have no kids, and B. I'm poor. Don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweaty stuff :)

I think if I were solicited for the wedding pics I would sell them and give at least half of it away to charity. It's like a big party anyway so if the rags wanted to pay me to share in the fun I wouldn't have a huge issue with it. Especially if I could do some good with it. The baby pics I wouldn't give out. I wouldn't think it was fair to have my kid look back at themself on a magazine years from now without them knowing what they were getting into.
I guess if your private life isn't that important to you, you'd sell out. I would hope that I wouldn't but who knows. Hopefully if you're interesting enough to be offered that kind of money for private photos, you are making crazy money so that is isn't as much of an enticement.

I would keep it private. Since when did being an actress mean revealing your personal life? I think the media really has taken things to the extreme these days. It's really sad.

What I find ironic is so many people would choose to keep it private yet I bet most of those same people have facebook accounts or some other online thing where anyone and everyone can see their private photos....for free.

if you were to bet, you would lose money because i commented above and i don't -or ever- plan to have a facebook or myspace account. so there goes your little theory. plenty of my friends have those accounts and i really don't consider pictures of them frolicking around on the beach, partying in the dorm hallyway, or having a greek party to be all that private. that's basically the only kinds of pictures i ever see on their pages. it definately doesn't compare to PRIVATE photos from your wedding or of your babies. so, please, speak for yourself and don't just make assumptions about people.
I didnt call you out personally, I was talking about people in general ( thats what a generalization is ) so take a chill pill and relax. . For the record I dont have one of those accounts either because I dont like people being able to track my every move but there are far more who use it then dont these days it seems. As for those pictures that your friends have on their sites, that is the exact thing I was referring too so you proved my point brilliantly. Thank you. As for wedding and baby pictures, people are usually so excited about both these events in their lives that they want to share them with others - especially from the "stars". Amy you are so right about not posting pics of others online. Ive seen an aunt post pictures on her account of my sisters when they were children. I mean how appropriate is that?? 2 of the sisters dont even have accounts themselves because they choose to stay private. As for Beyonce does anyone know if Mama designed the dress or did she have a good one made lol ?

how exactly did that person proved your point. they basically said the crap people put on myspace and facebook doesn't compare to pictures from your wedding or of your babies. i will never get people selling pictures of their babies and i also will never get people who pay money to see pictures of people babies.
Actually I have never had a facebook or myspace account either. Maybe if I were younger I might have considered it. But at my age I just want my privacy. I don't want anyone to know who I am. I like the anonymous factor. Even if I posted pics of myself(which I wouldn't), I would never post pics of my family. For me that's to personal.

I do have facebook but rarely use it and I don't have any pictures on it either. I'd also keep my wedding and especially baby pictures private too.

What's so funny is how these people in Hollywood invade our lives when it's time for them to promote their movies or their CDs. They have quotes after quotes every day, some even talk about their sex lives, others about their kids, and much more. For some people, celebrities are inspirations and seeing their wedding pics make their fans like them even more and make them more attainable. So they want us to buy their CDs, read their books, watch their movies, go to their concerts... but ....
ew shut up beyonce, stop acting like you're better than everyone else out there--- you're not better. not one tiny bit. you actually kinda suck. ha!

if you want to keep it private, you invite just parents and close friends. If you make a big bash, it doesn't smell wiht privacy. SELL and DONATE The difference those money can do to some desperate people's life well worth it
I'd sell out for baby pictures. Everyone coos over babies, they grow up to look totally different anyway and if any magazine would be interested to pay me millions then I'd be so famous in the first place that I wouldn't need the money anyway and just give it to charity.
