Rihanna Cancels Indonesia Concert

Rihanna has canceled her Indonesia concert after fears that if she goes through with it someone may get hurt and she doesn’t want fans to have problems because of her.

According to a report on NYTimes.com, the Umbrella singer has
pulled out because there is unrest in the area following the execution
of three men accused of bombing a nightclub on the nearby island of
Bali in 2002.

She had been due to play in front of a sell-out
crowd of 6000 in the capital, Jakarta, but while she was in Australia,
the government began warning people not to travel to Indonesia because
the bombers, who were killed at the weekend, had told their followers
to carry out revenge attacks after their deaths.

Smart decision, I’m sure, but fans must be really disappointed. After all, how often does Rihanna make it to Indonesia? However, there might be another chance after all.Organizers are trying to reschedule for this Jan.

She made a wise decision not to appear, so much warfare going on in these faraway countries. I would cancel too.

Indonesia is a such big country, and has so many islands. Its width is as US width. If there is a problem in one location, we just cannot say that the whole country is fully dangerous. It would be just the same if we say US in a big disaster, when those twin tower went down, isn’t it?

Not really, there’s probably two places that have the highest chance of something happening, Bali, where most of the tourists go and where the original bombing took place, and Jakarta as it’s a capital city.
