Britney Spears Almost Played The Virgin Mary In A Film Role

Britney Spears was going to play the part of the Virgin Mary in the comedy movie, Sweet Baby Jesus.Unfortunately, she took some heat from her family for the controversial part, and in the end decided to back out.

Philippe Rebboah, the film’s producer, says: "Britney read the script
and liked it. She really wanted to play the role of Mary. But people
were against it and she was pressured. Then she ran into trouble with her family so we decided the timing wasn’t right."

I can’t believe she’s not doing it.I would have loved to see Britney as the mother of Jesus. Now THAT would have been a comeback. :P
