Britney Spears: 'Life Is Worse Than Jail'
The Sun is reporting that Britney Spears confesses about how her life isn't as great as it seems in an upcoming documentary due out in December. Here are some quotes:
Comparing life to jail:
There’s no excitement, there’s no passion. I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail you know there’s the time when you’re gonna get out. But in this situation, it’s never ending. It’s just like Groundhog Day every day.
On trying to reclaim her life:
I think it’s too in control. If I wasn’t under the restraints I’m under, I’d feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it’s like they hear but they’re really not listening. If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I’m having to pay for a long time. I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free.I think I’ve learned my lesson now and enough is enough.

I live and work about 30 minutes away from Kentwood. Last Wednesday, Britney, Jamie Lynn, 2 friends, & her body guard all came into the restaurant where I work. They only ordered a couple of appetizers & Brit's body guard sat at a different table. They were really quiet and although the restaurant was busy, no one noticed they were there. Britney looked GORGEOUS and thin in person, and kept quiet and barely looked up from the table. Jamie Lynn was in sweat pants and a baggy sweatshirt, no baby Maddie with her! It isn't really a big deal to anyone around here when they are seen. They're just normal Louisiana folks!

Maybe she wants to be in control of her own life and is tired of her dad having control. I'm not sure, but she sounds sad. It almost sounds as if she has no hope, or that no one is listening to her. :(
Well she was totally out of control. Maybe if she had boundaries when she was younger she wouldn't have rebelled so much. Plus her mental health just plummeted after her pregnancies. I don't think she will ever have the life of an independent adult and responsible mother.

Okay, to you people that are always saying that Britney was "spoiled" growing up I have this to say: Um....you DO realize that she used to wear hand-me-downs right? And her brother once told about a time when Britney was a teenager. She snuck out with her friends after curfew, her brother found out and told on her and not only did she get grounded, but she had to go around with a bucket and pick up garbage the entire next day and you guys are saying she was SPOILED?????

I's sure she will be OK in the future. I don't think she is specifically talking about her Dad being in control, I think she is talking about all the PRESSURE she has. She has to SHOW everybody that she is a good mom. These days, people just judge without knowing what's really going on. For example, because we don't see some celebrity moms partying, we just tend to assume they are better moms than others not even knowing what's really going on in their households. She is a chart topper, so if her song doesn't go to #1, she feels the pressure from her music related people. If she is heavier that what she used to be, she feels the pressure to explains us all why.........etc.
All of her life is PRESSURE and mostly to satisfy OTHERS not herself. So I understand that she feels like a slave or someone trapped outside looking in to her success. I still have a feeling that she can be a good inspiration for a lot of people especially after she totally recovers from all of this.
I reckon she was having one of her bad days when she gave this interview. She doesn't need to "learn her lesson" - she was ill and needed help to recover. Its a shame that even she feels that she did something bad which she is being punished for, when she was ill.
the sun??! come on you're not gonna believe this sh*^t! it doesn't even sounds like her. i'm not telling that she's the happiest girl in the world but as far as i remember she has never speak very much about her feelings. and this seems a little bit too personnal for her. i guess her true feelings was the only things she could kept private during all those years and this is why she doesn't express this that much.
