Nicole Kidman Is Determined To Make Her Marriage Work
Nicole Kidman has vowed to do everything in her power to make her marriage to Keith Urban last. I suppose after her divorce from Tom Cruise, she knows exactly what she wants and will work hard to keep it. The actress promises to take nothing for granted as Nicole loves this great life she's created with Keith.
"We’re both willing to move mountains to make it work and, with that, you still touch wood. You commit to it and say, ‘Whatever we can do that’s humanly possible, we’re going to do’. And that’s it.
"I don’t take any of it for granted. To have love again is a beautiful thing."
One of the reasons why I really LOVE Nicole is because she never bashes Tom even though she is talking about new love. If you notice, Nicole always includes a sentence to show that she has loved in the past and it was beautiful when she was in it. You can't say the same for others in the news.

She's very classy, especially compared to most.
Does touch wood gave a different meaning in the US? In the UK (and I guess probably Australia) you touch a wooden object to ward off bad luck, and when you say the phrase you mean "if all goes well then..."
I really like Nicole, she is a super talented comedy and dramatic actress (a rare combination), and very very classy.
Umm.. Yes. In the US we "Knock on Wood" for luck. "Touching Wood" refers to a certain excitable part of the male anatomy ;-)
I think she doesn't bash Tom because she was paid very well not to. I think that whole marriage was a Scientology sham, and that from the beginning, she was supposed to be Tom's beard and look like the devoted wife, and in return, they made her a star. Then, after 10 years, she was released from the deal to start her own real life...and paid very handsomely to go through the humiliating divorce and not bash Tom or say anything pubicly about his sexuality. I think that's why she keeps quiet about him.
