Coldplay Breaking Up

Coldplay is ready to call it quits. I guess they want to get out while they're still on top. Chris Martin recently said that the band won't keep going when they get old. And yes, he considers 33 to be old.
"I'm 31 now and I don't think that bands should keep going past 33. So, we're trying to pack in as much as possible. Up until the
end of next year, we'll just go for it in every sense."I
don't believe in time off. We've still got most of our hair, we can

I REALLY love some of their songs. It would be sad to see such a successful group ends things that soon. Why not carry on like other legendary musicians who keep singing until they die?!?

this is awful news!! i just saw them live a couple of months ago and it was hands down the best show i've ever seen and i've been to a lot. they are better live than they are recorded!!

I bet you have no idea of what good music is like. A song needs awesome lyrics (like Coldplay's), awesome melodies (like Coldplay), and awesome voices (like Coldplay). Coldplay really IS the best band at the moment. They're everything!

I think Gwynnie is know as fishsticks because she is cold and bland. I have no feelings either way about Coldplay but wish people wouldn't take entertainment so seriously.
Word on the street (in fact it was in a recent "Blind Items") is that they are breaking up because the band can't stand Chris's ego and the fact that he hogs the spotlight and publicity without giving any credit to the other band members. He isn't quitting them - they are quitting him......Just sayin

Chris often jokes about being too old and too fat to be a rock star. Usually he's just kidding around. I saw them live recently and they were absolutely brilliant. I hope they don't quit any time soon. The last album was really great.

There are plenty of bands that are still together, over 40 and don't look ridiculous, Radiohead anybody? A band that Martin seems to try and fail at emulating.

Coldplay are simply an amazing band!they are a complete contrast to what type of music i like but they're geniuses with lyrics and riffs. Chris dosn't dress up because he thinks its what the people want or anything it's called a concert theme!the band are fully behind Chris they said it on a recent Mtv interview. The man does not have a big ego simply a talent for entertaining i.e Dublin concert in Sept'.U2 on the other hand are a complete waste of time and Bono should be shot for his political and social bullshit.
