Coldplay Breaking Up
Coldplay is ready to call it quits. I guess they want to get out while they're still on top. Chris Martin recently said that the band won't keep going when they get old. And yes, he considers 33 to be old.
"I'm 31 now and I don't think that bands should keep going past 33. So, we're trying to pack in as much as possible. Up until the end of next year, we'll just go for it in every sense.
"I don't believe in time off. We've still got most of our hair, we can still fit into our musical trousers and we've got to make the most of that."
I REALLY love some of their songs. It would be sad to see such a successful group ends things that soon. Why not carry on like other legendary musicians who keep singing until they die?!?

If you are going to insult their lyrics at least quote them correctly. It's "roman cavalry choirs." And that song is brilliant! Do you even know what it's about? Do you think "All the single ladies" being chanted over and over is lyrical genius?
Coldplay is pure awesomeness, but id rather them break up than start sucking.

this is awful news!! i just saw them live a couple of months ago and it was hands down the best show i've ever seen and i've been to a lot. they are better live than they are recorded!!

If that's true, then he is obviously in it for the $$$ and not for the love of making music... and that's pretty pathetic!! Now I'm even more glad that I never got into their music.
if you dont agree that coldplay is one of the most genius bands of all time i think that you should seriously piss off. the man here has more music in his fingertips then you'll ever see in your lifetime. btw they have a cd supposedly coming out this december with the numbers that didn't make it on viva la vida and yet another one next year.
This post is a perfect example of someone who has clearly drank the Coldplay kool-aid. I'm sure you're also the type that worships that fraud of a band U2 (because you think, they have such profound messages in there music). Read a book!
