Winter shorts? I don’t know. I just don’t know. I froze my little (ok BIG) tush off while waiting outside for Natalie to get released from school. I can’t imagine having done it in a pair of shorts and stockings.
What do you think about Katie Holmes’ look? Is she trying too hard? Or is she simply a fashionista?

I saw a picture of her when she first met Tom. They were at a movie premiere or something together. She had her arms draped around him, a huge girlish smile from ear to ear, just loving life. Everytime i see a picture of her now (with Tom or and / or Suri), i have to wonder if there’s a ‘seen – not heard’ mentality that no doubt her shrimpy husband has something to do with.
Such a shame.

OK, I wore the tights with the jean shorts back in grade school. I would NEVER wear that again, especially with boots. WOW, is all I have to say. First the boyfriend jeans now this. ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww been there done that.
I was just over in Japan on vacation. TONS of girls over there were sporting this look — shorts, opaque tights, and calf or knee high boots. Must be a new thing.
Sometimes she gets it…sometimes she doesn’t. I think this is one time when she didn’t get it.
I don’t like it, but that’s me.
tights & denim shorts?? i rocked this look in high school with doc martins & that was in the late 80′s…please make it go away.

So much money, so many options but simply NO TASTE and NO STYLE! Everything looks good on top but whats going on on the bottom? She looks ridiculous! Simply not a trendsetter, just sloppy. And for goodness sakes someone tell her to stop cutting her hair!! She looks like shes 37 years old!!!!!
I’m tired of seeing her wear things that 1st look horrible on her and 2nd do not fit her body. She is not skinny and should stop wearing skinny jeans, shorts, etc – if she would wear something more elegant and body fitting maybe she would not look like she’s wearing her daughters outfit and look like she is 40 lb overweight. They dress Suri up in big dresses and huge leggings, meanwhile she dresses like a little girl. She has a nice body (tiny waist and and nice butt) and should dress more appropriately – nice skirt with a nice top will look much better than this horrific outfit.
This look is all the rage in Japan. It’s absolutely everywhere. Shorts, boots, and tights…this is a completely normal, acceptable, and popular look on the other side of the world. Why Americans always have to think that boots/heels with shorts is hookerish…I do not know.

well Vera, Katie has a limo waiting for her, we small people have to take public transportation or drive ourselves. If I had Katie’s money, I too would wear her outfit. I think she looks great, she did pair it with stockings and knee high boots.
