Leighton Meester Enjoys Working On Her Upcoming Album
Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester is excited about her upcoming album. Music has always been a part of her life and now Leighton gets to share her passion with the world.
"I’ve always done (music), just now I am actually doing an album that I plan to release. It’s so cool because it’s a completely different creative process. From beginning to end it’s yours and you make it. You can see the finished product.
"It’s sometimes hard when you’re acting to be like, ‘Oh I see the finished product right before my eyes’. So it’s cool you’re there from start to finish when you are writing."
I can't wait to hear what she is about. While I typically don't like when actors try to sing and singers try to act, I feel hopeful about Leighton.

i usually hate when a actress do this but i love this girl. although i have never seen an episode of gossip girl, she has some how caught my attention. i honestly can't wait to see what she comes out with. but, i just hope it isn't anything like what Scarlett J put out. i remember listen to that mess and thinking, 'is this for real?'

Man, I luv Leighton. Which it's a funny story because the first time I watch Gossip Girl the only person I knew was Blake Lively from Traveling Pants. But now that the show is one of my favorites, Blake is still my #2 favorite character and Leighton of course is #1, and it's because she's my fav character that I will do everything in my power to buy that album whenever it's released. But however what I'd really would luv to see is a Gossip Girl Movie, Blake of course has experience and Leighton and Ed I'm sure would make great movie actors and actresses, so why not.
She actually has a good voice and i cant wait for her cd
