Paris Hilton And Benji Madden Break-Up!
Well it's official, Paris Hilton and Benji Madden have called it quits after 9 months together. Of course it doesn't come as much of a surprise since the rumor has been floating around for a good couple of weeks. I guess it proves (once again) that where there's smoke there's fire...
Paris Hilton's rep has CONFIRMED the break-up and this is what a close friend had to say...
"Even though they are still in love, they felt it would be better to just be friends,"
A source also goes into the reason why they split up:
"Benji was overprotective and controlling. He doesn't get along with any of her friends. Friends thought Paris had changed since being with Benji and she wants to be herself again.
Is anyone surprised or saddened by the news? I'm sure they both will end up dating someone else fairly soon. Who knows maybe Paris and Stavros will get back together?...

she is totally fake & immature...they are still in love my butt...the maddens are known douches, but he probably didnt want his girlfriend whoring around & always partying, so maybe he was that way because he wanted some respect.
he should have known you can't turn a whore into a house wife. paris will be 50 and still doing the same things she's doing now--partying, drinking, catfights, etc. this girl will never grow up and that is a shame because she is damn near 30.

i can't say im saddened, and when they first started dating i was sure theyd be done in a week, but i am slightly shocked. not that i like paris or anything but he seemed like he was the guy that would tame her.

I totally agree with you TCrush! It is sad and I started to like her because she seemed to have gotten it together while she was with him. SHe didnt seem so dumb anymore. Oh well maybe they will work it out.

I don't think Paris will EVER settle down. I mean, her friends change every month, as do her boyfriends, and dogs, and everything else in her life. She's way too superficial to live a typical life. She just won't be happy.
