I can't see the videos but I did want to say that I think what she is doing is awesome. I'm actually headed up there the first week in January with my university to help rebuild. Go Cameron.
My only comment is "why the hell aren't any stars visiting the Texas Gulf Coast Area after Hurricane Ike?!?" Our area was devestated. We have TONS of torn up communities, displaced families, displaced pets, lost jobs, etc. There hasn't been ONE celebrity to jump on the "let's help these victims" bandwagon. Our communities were well-prepared, but still need government and outside resources to help rebuild. These resources have been depleted and are STILL being received by the Hurricane Katrina victims, leaving less resources for us. For instance, all the displaced residents from Galveston, Tiki Island, and Bayou Vista had to travel hundreds of miles north in Texas to reach open domicile accommodations due to all the Kartina victims on Government grants still residing in the hotels and apartments. You'd think that after this amount of time, these "victims" would have been able to secure employment and afford their own domiciles/residences. Instead, we have had to suffer for our open hearts and our generosity for taking these victims into our hearts and our communities. The entire U.S., STARS included, stepped up and helped these victims. Where are the STARS to help us?!? Sad.
