Amy Poehler Takes Son For A Stroll

Amy Poehler was spotted taking her son for a stroll through West Village. Amy was bundled up for the brisk New York weather, decked out in a sweater and oversized parka. Her son, Archibald William Emerson Arnett (that's a mouthful!) is exactly a month old today, in fact, I believe this is their first public outing together.
On another note, I just love Amy and I can't wait for her to return to Saturday Night Live.

Sadly enough, Amy isn't coming back to SNL.
Yeah, unfortunately Amy is not coming back to SNL... She announced before giving birth to Archie that once he was here, she was going to be finished with SNL :(

She still has a little tummy! I LOVE her for not being one of those I-can't-wait-to-get-my-anorexic-figure-back celebrities. :)
Oh my God, how the hell can you see her tummy? Plus besides it's only been a month, how can you make a statement like that? Give her time to lose the weight, or better yet, don't even comment on it at all. Maybe that is why all these hollywood moms feel like they need to lose the weight super fast. Becasue people start commenting on their weight the second their baby is born.

You can see the stomach a tad in the main picture. Don't jump all over the person before you. They were just commenting on how much they loved the fact that she isn't conforming to Hollywood's whole idea that you have to be stick thin within two months of having a baby. Calm down. It's a valid point. I think she looks fantastic.

I just watched Baby mama and OMG so great! I can totally picture her acting all silly with her baby. Can't wait for new pictures.
yeah, she is not returning to SNL but she is going to star in the Office spinoff which is set to air on NBC later this year.

Yeah, unfortunately she's not going back to SNL, not that I ever watched it, but she's the only funny one on there anymore. I think after Tina Fey and a couple others like Mya Rudolf (sp?) and of course now Amy, the show isn't funny. Keenan is funny, just not on there, but sometimes he is. Some others, eh, can be. Andy whatever his name is, isn't funny, and the show is basically like skits with one or two main people then all the others are doing random lines. Not funny. It's a good choice for her though

I love SNL! How can you not enjoy pure characters like Bill Hader, Fred Armisen and Will Forte! Hall and Oates anyone?? Andy Samberg is a riot! And Seth Myers on the news? SNL always has strong performers, they just need to make good use of them. Amy is a huge loss because I find it's tough to get good females on the show, but I'll still watch.
