Britney Spears Blames Kevin Federline For Teaching The F Word To Her Son
I'm not up to this part of childhood yet. The most my daughter says is "shut up" and that's only to the dogs because that is what we do in the house. Need to curb that I know... but what do you do when your child starts dropping the F bomb.
You can't put too much attention to it right? Because then they will want to do it MORE. But how do you get them to stop saying it without letting them know that's what you want them to do?
Britney Spears is currently in that boat. Her boys have learned some choice words and the singer thinks it's because of their daddy, Kevin Federline.Here she is opening up in next month's Rolling Stone.
"Every time they come to visit me, I think about how they're such
special people. (But the kids are) are starting to learn
words like 'stupid,' and Preston says the f-word now sometimes. He
doesn't get it from us. He must get it from his daddy. I say it, but
not around my kids."
The singer also admitted that she is in bed before 10. Welcome to the club!! :)
"I feel like an old person now. I do! I go to bed at, like, 9:30 every night, and I don't go out or anything."

I think she looks sexy without having to be half naked! She looks happy in the photo, and healthy! I am happy for her. I hope things keep going great for her.
She smokes in front of the kids. Use to undress in front of them and now she is blaming Kevin for teaching them the f word? She seems to think she is a Saint with a flawless past all of a sudden.

I've said this before, I'll say it again: Um....you DO realize Britney grew up wearing hand-me-downs, right? Oh, and not to mention her brother told about a time when she snuck out after curfew and got caught and she not only got grounded, but she had to go around the neighborhood the next day with a bucket picking up garbage as punishment. That's TWO punishments for one crime and you think she was SPOILED??? Wow, I can't imagine what ur childhood musta been like if you think that's being spoiled.
a curfew from the same parents that let her fuck older men when she was under-age and take class A drugs all before she was 16 ?
And you have proof of this where? Unless you were there when she was allegedly sleeping with older men and doing drugs I'm afraid you don't have a case. I once read somewhere that Britney was a martian. Well I guess since I read it in a magazine then it MUST be true.

To Anonymous- She gets those things HANDED to her because she worked hard for them. YES, no matter how much you don't like her, she is been working to get what she has right now. I agree she has been crazy at times, but this girl worked for every cent she has. She didn't inherit it from her rich grand parents, it's all hers.

She gets to be on the cover because she has an album coming out. And plus, she looks happy here. It's just a proof that Britney doesn't have to look like a slut anymore to sell albums. People will buy her album just cause she is Britney. You'll see! I'm tellin you all, her album will debut BIG, bigger than any of the other girls like Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Madonna. She will have the number one album. Personally, I'll be watching from the sidelines since I'm not a particular big fan of her music just an observer.

i never thought there would be a day when i would see her looking like her old self again. seriously, i a truely amazed at how she has turned her life around despite people who constantly feel the need to throw her past in her face. those people should show us all how to be such perfect human beings. 'people will talk about you if you do bad; people will talk about you if you do good, so you really shouldn't live you life seeking the approval of others.' as i get older, i am truely understanding what my parents meant when they would always say that to me.
What a fantastic comment, I absolutely agree. She overcame a "sickeness" (and yes, depression/postpartum depression and bipolar disease is a sickness) against all odds. A non-celebrity would have a hard chance overcoming that type of sickness without the judegment and harrassment of the public eye. This girl powered through her hard times and has come out on top again. Its so easy to throw the past in someone's face instead of commend them for the good they have done. Yes she has made mistakes, but she was sick, and thats not meant to be a "get out of jail free" card, but give the girl a break!!

She has done her fair share of using that word. Sounds like she is going to start playing the blame game. I hate when people do that. It makes the person doing the blaming sound more guilty to me.
Uh yeah, clearly she admits to saying it, just NOT around her children. If she doesn't have full custody and doesn't say it around her children, they must've learned it from him. She looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! I love how she isn't all airbrushed and photoshopped to hell. So classic and simple, like the old Britney we all knew and loved.

Cindy Crawford's son gave the finger to people at 4 or 5 years old. Nobody seems to think she is white trash. My point is whatever Britney does, people are always gonna talk bad about her. But I think she will be OK cause she has more fans than anyone can imagine. I'm not a fan of her music but I am fan of her as a person. We all go through hard times in our lives and I don't think no one wants to be judged by their past. The main thing is to get passed the hard times to become a better person. Just cause you didn't go through what she went through literally doesn't necessarily make you a better person.

She looks much better here, more natural and less photoshopped (though I'm sure they did a bit of airbrushing -- I do it to my own pics!).
I agree with the poster that said the kids are good listeners. Kids -- all kids -- are little sponges. For better or worse, they will absorb everything you say and everything you do and then squeeze it all back out again. Whatever you put into your children is what is going to come out.
I'm not going to pretend I'm a perfect parent but I do try to remember that my son is always watching & listening so I have to be the best example I can be.

I am impressed that she looks happy and healthy. She had such a rough time and worked hard to get back to her old self. That alone deserves praise. There aren't a lot of people who can come back from what she did. I'm not a huge Britney fan, but I can respect how hard she worked. Overcoming addiction and cutting losers out of your life isn't easy.

It's not that hard to train a child not to say/do certain things. It just takes a lot of effort and the correct techniques... like rewarding them when they don't say it. And doesn't mean that the child learned it anywhere specific. Everyone says it, many times without realizing it, and children will pick up anything and use it without knowing exactly why and what it means.

Publicly bashing Kevin is very immature and childish. She's very delusional thinking she's a good mom - Britney lost custody which mean she did not have the best interest in her children lives!! Trust me she hasn't change one bit- her dad, Larry and her whole PR team worked so damn hard cleaning her image. That's all it is....IMAGE. She's still a mess inside.

She looks AMAZING on this cover. I am so pumped to see her coming back and I cannot wait to see her MTV special on November 30th! She's such a beautiful woman, and I am so pleased that she seems to be rising up from all the muck just as loveable and sweet as ever! I've always admired that she's never tried to hide her human-ness. I like that she admits that she uses the f-word instead of trying to make it like she's flawless and all Kevin. The kids could pick up that word from anyway. It's not necessarily fair to blame one parent or one person for it. What's important is that the behavior is corrected immediate so there's no F**k bomb dropped in an embarassing public place!

KEVIN IS PROBABLY HOPING SHE GETS FULL CUSTODY BACK, SO HE CAN GO BACK TO PARTYING FULL TIME. NOT VERT SURPRISED HE TAUGHT THE KIDS THE "F " WORD. I HAVE HEARD INTERVIEWS WERE HE HAS CURSED. HE HAS NO CLASS, HE LIKE THE GANSTER LIFESTYLE, AND THAT IS ALOT OF CURSING, AND TALKING TRASH INVOLVED ALSO.
My daughter is almost 6 and she doesn't say "Shut-Up", "Stupid", and certainly not the F-Word. Those words aren't used in my home....shouldn't be used in any home. She is such trailer trash. So Sad for those kids.

So, she doesn't go to school? Kids learn those things with bigger kids. My daughter doesn't say the f-word, but she started saying things like "stupid" & "shut up" because older kids say those all the time at school.
Good for you, your child is perfect. But most children are going to pick up what they hear from their friends at school and at home. Your daughter might use that language with her friends for all you know(shut-up &stupid).
She goes to school. She just knows those aren't nice words to use. Her school doesn't allow it either.
She looks like she 35+ years old...even with the pounds of slathered on her face.
