Odds Are Carrie Bradshaw Won't Be A Mom In SATC Sequel

Who knows though? This quote leaves a lot open doesn't it? Sarah Jessica Parker was asked about the possibility of Carrie Bradshaw getting pregnant for the sequel of Sex and the City. The actress / producer says it's unlikely.
"It doesn’t seem as if that’s going to be a choice she’ll make.
I don’t know. Michael (Patrick King, director) and I never talk about it. That doesn’t mean that won’t be part of the story. We just haven’t figured it out."It feels a little bit manipulative to toss that into the mix, because she seems so pointed in a different direction."
What do you think would make for a great sequel? What obstacle will they use to make the plot interesting? I feel like we did it all at this point!

I think the best idea for the sequel is to NOT make one!
i agree- after the way the LAST sequel came out,best to put it under the radar...
then again, SATC has gone down ALOT since it's debut in 1998...

My guess is that they're going to focus on the return of Samantha to the Big Apple. Other than that, I have no clue. It seemed like they all had closure in the movie. I can't wait to see what Michael Patrick King comes up with!

I'd love to see a kid sort of "thrown" their way in a crazy twist of fate type thing...and have Big be the one to totally want to keep it. I never thought I'd say that. LOL Not necessarily a baby but maybe a young-ish child in the 3-6 year range? I seriously hope they don't focus on Samantha...I didn't enjoy her much in the last movie. :(
The story would become interesting if Samantha got pregnant and Smith wanted to raise the baby as a single father! Can you imagine Samantha dealing with a pregnancy and having twins?! Smith and a new lady friend raising the babies will get Samantha in the competitive mood to win back her babies daddy!
It sounds cruel but Carrie the widow is probably the only way to go. Mr. Big's and his ex-wife Natasha have a child. They both die tragically and the kid has to come live with Carrie. Of course having a new love thrown in the mix to help her cope with life is crucial.
Steve and Miranda might try the swingers scene to spice up their marriage. Payback is a bitch with Miranda doing the cheating this time round. What are the odds Skipper got his act together and turned into a successful chick magnet?
Charlotte and Harry might have to deal with their adoptive daughter being claimed back by her biological family!

That does seem a bit out of character to see Carrie pregnant and with a baby.
