i'm at a loss for words.... that rarely happens. this girl should not be viewed as a role model. she is an actress. she has a job. she is portraying a fictional character. i have a twilight obsessed daughter. i have read the books and yes, they sucked(LOL) me right in too. i hated to be at the end of the last book. i wanted to cry. but its just a story. it is not real!!!!

You're probably right that it's weed, BUT, I don't see her packing a new bowl after every puff. Usually you have to pack a new one after each hit or you'll just be inhaling the ash smoke, yuck.
You smoke it until its gone, you don't reload after every hit unless it was a really small bowl or you have really superhuman lungs. Then you dump the ash and clean out the pipe a little and then your reload. Duh! lol its a cute pipe though, but mine is way prettier.

what else would you smoke in a pipe like that? c'mon, its totally pot or some drug...i am just shocked she is smoking it in the open, its not like they are in a coffee shop in amsterdam or anything...crazy...however, i have said it before, every pic i see of this girl she looks high & her eyes are dead. that being said, soooo many people smoke pot, it's astounding. its not like she is carrying on like amy winehouse or anything.

I think this is something she has always done, and probably more, but she was never in the spotlight as she is now, so I'm sure they will be more photos and even video's of her doing what she normally does before the Twilight fame.

Not shocked at all, or saddened in any way. It certainly would've been smarter for her to do it indoors, low-pro, but I can't say that I blame her; I don't smoke inside at my house either.

I agree completely; people here act like taking drugs is "normal" and "just a part of growing up" and "all 18 year olds do it"...duuuhhh, it's NOT,and they DON'T: I never did, and neither did any of my friends. My kids don't do it, and neither do their friends. My 19 year old son's in university and he doesn't do it either. It's NOT normal, or part of growing up,and it's shocking so many people act like it;'s no big thing and condone it.Society has become way too permissible and accepting of not only the drug culture but many other immoral activities as well.It's not right,and it disgusts me.

In the event you are as christian as your avatar implies, I offer this well known verse - judge not lest ye be judged. I posted earlier and said "It's POT, who hasn't done it?" but I will readily admit there are those that do not choose to partake and you know what? Good for them! It's a personal choice. But putting on airs and placing yourself above others because they do something you deem "immoral" - well that's not very christian...is it?

But then again, my faith is probably...how should I put this...insubstantial to someone such as yourself. You are so quick to pass judgment and that is NOT tolerance - hypocritical more like. I was raised under the belief that you do well onto others, forsaking the choices they make that you might consider wrong and immoral - choosing instead to pray for them each night in the hope that they will find a good and decent path in life. Thank you, and for a reasonable debate, and I too apologize for assuming you weren't a Christian; it's just that I always get so much flack for my beliefs and Christian-bashing is alive and well out there(I'd guess you as a Christian have come across it often as well and therefore know how wearying it can be!) I thought it was just more of the same.

I completely agree with you, kids of all ages look up to her and by hearing others say whats the big deal, kids are going to start smoking this. I think its pathetic that we put up with this crap from celebrities. People can say its her life, but i believe that part of being an actor is showing the right path. People can say all they want about how its no big deal, BUT it is a big deal to those who looked up to her. I myself am highly disappointed. Is there anyone left in this world who has morals?

Could you IMAGINE how stressful her life is as of the past month? If not even this past year!! This girl is under crazy stress, alot of eyes are on her and she just needs a smoke to relax. I don't blame her at all, I do it on occassion with friends, and don't see anything wrong with it. I am not smoking crack, or shooting up lines of coke.. it's the less of all evils, as far as I am concerned.
She was great in the movie, she's got such range as an actress and I think this role in the movie has opened up a whole new line of viewers for her and her work.
