Leonardo DiCaprio no longer wants to play the game. And instead of wasting more time dodging and hiding from photographers, the actor plans to quietly move somewhere other than LA where he can go to the market without being hounded.
His Malibu home is now on the market for $9 million.
Leo recently said he isn’t going to help the paparazzi make any more money off of his life because of the dangerous way they go about getting their shot.
"The mere fact that these – I’ll use the word piles – are earning money from exploiting my image is the only reason I hide myself or am not a photo-friendly person. I do not like the way they conduct themselves. I think they’re disrespectful and dangerous. The reason I don’t pose or smile or that I seem mad is that I don’t want them to make a living off my private life."

He goes to market, to beach, to restuarant, to make pee pee in bathroom and everyone wants picture of him. No changes wherever he tries to live.
I guess I can assume he won’t be making an announcement on where he’s headed.
Its what they all should do if the paps are driving them crazy. There ARE other cities but LA dont they know?
Just because he’s selling his house doesn’t mean he’s moving out of Malibu. He could be moving to a more private neighborhood.
I think it’s an excellent idea. Perhaps when you’re young and just finding fame, it’s exciting to be where the action is, and the trendy clubs, and even to be followed and photographed. When you get tired of that attention, move. Perfect. You can come back in to work, for visits, but have your private life where it’s private. Seems healthy to me.
I have never understood why movie actors live in LA in the first place. Sitcom actors I sort of understand since they have to work daily near the studio. It makes perfect sense for me for him to move. While it’s true that there will be cameras elsewhere I’m sure that there will be no where NEAR how many paps are in LA, it’s ridiculous there.
