And when I saw him happily married with that baby sling on, I almost died. Really! I let out a full gasp from shock because I really thought that Sarah Jessica Parker’s character was going to end up with him. Alas, so it life.
However, that might not be the end of good ol’ Aidan. John has confessed that he would LOVE to take part in the upcoming SATC sequel – desperate in fact!

LOL! I mean, what ELSE can they do besides get Carrie pregnant which has already been "dismissed" as an option.
And on a side note, if you are thinking that the woman standing next to John looks an awful lot like Bo Derek – that’s because it is. John and Bo have been dating for quite some time now.

Although I didn’t dislike Aiden & Carrie, I still found him too soft for her. He was way more into her than she was into him. It didn’t work and was too boring. Still, I’d be happy to see him back in a role of some sort, even if they don’t end up getting together.

I loved Aidan, and I loved when Carrie ran into him and he had a kid. I thought that was a great ending for his character. Big and Carrie belong together, I really hope they don’t break them up. After all these years it ended how it should.
I loved the Aidan/Carrie relationship too! Just a cute behind the scenes note: when Carrie runs into Aidan and he has the baby, the baby is played my James Wilkie (Sarah Jessicas son in real life) and thats why he had such a strong happy reaction when he saw her because he recognized her as his mom. (Courtesy of the dvd commentary!)

I loved Aidan! he should def. come back & end up with Carrie in the next SATC film. I was so upset wen they ended. In SATC 2 he should be divorced from whoever he married, cos he couldnt get over Carrie and Carrie and Bigs marriage just never worked out. Come back Aidan pleeeease, everybody is expecting this outcome.

I LOVED, LOVED Aidan but he can’t come back. He’s got a family. It would be way too complicated.

I couldn’t stand Aidan’s character with Carrie on SATC. I don’t even watch season 3 and 4 in the set because it was such an unwatchable pairing.
If they put him as a pivotal point in the movie, I won’t see it.

Whaaaaaaaaaaa? Isnt she like seriously old enough to be his grandmother never mind mother? But hes looking great ! Tho I agree that I thought his character was wishy washy but then I thought the same thing about his toon on Northern Exposure as well.
Sheesh! She is only 4 and a half years older than him! She just turned 52 and he turned 47 in May. Forget the double standard for older women with younger men, that is hardly and age difference no matter who is older!

I agree with him that Mr. Big deserves murder and I will gladly welcome back Aidan into Carrie’s life if he is the one to do it! I was horrified that Carrie forgave Big in the movi- so lame- he was such a jerk!
I agree, but Mr. Big has always been a jerk. I find Big to be a – big yawn, total snooze fest. He is such a bore. I loved Aiden, he was rather crunchy in the early episodes, but he is so cute and his fashion does improve.
Bo is only 5 years older than John. Her late husband was more than 30 yrs older than her. Probably why she went for someone a little younger this time. I didn’t watch SATC. I have seen a few episodes here and there, but only because my daughter used to watch it.

I associate him with young shows and her with hmm well Im not sure what she was in besides that beach movie ( was it called 10 ?)
