"Let me be very blunt: I hate them. I hate these people. I don’t understand why they do that for a living.
"We’ve got to make a distinction between these people who photograph celebrities at events and people who climb over your walls or wear camouflage and call out your kids names as you’re trying to take them to school to see if they’ll look that way.
"I have no respect for these people. I do not like them. I don’t understand how they can live their lives that way. There should be laws against it. They should not be able to follow kids like this, but there’s not right now so that’s the way it is."

These people are constantly b*tching about their right-to-privacy. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Talk to your government, get the word out, gather other like-minded individuals and petition your Congressmen. If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. It's not like they're working all day every day, unable to take time out to handle this.
Thank you for saying that. That is exactly what I would do if I was a celebrity getting hounded by the paparazzi. They really don't have the quality of life like most people. I know, I know...they're celebrities. But when they can't even go to the store, the Drs., the park with their kids, a restaurant, even their own yards, etc. without being stalked by these loons, well, I think that is a very sad life indeed.
I couldn't agree more. No matter how publicity-addicted celebs are, their children should be left in peace.
I for one would be very happy without daily pictures of Shiloh, Suri and all the rest.
yoo think that is possible if they sell photos of their children for 14,000,000? and make them tabloid news by doing that? They know the game OK? Or getting people Angelina's breastfeeding photos...These people are narcissists and hypocrites. They would not even be making money they make if it would not be for paparazzi.

They can't choose their parents, after all. And if their parents can't or won't protect them (I don't know which category the Jolie-Pitts are in) the law should.

....blogges like Vera and the rest buy these pictures. The paps sell them, in turn photo agencies buy them and sell them to bloggers, magazines. Everyone is involved, including the celebrities themselves. Brad should start at home with Angelina, she is the first one to sell her pictures and call the paps to where she is going to be. I say f*ck them both.
You're right Brad only the pictures that are taken of your kids after you and Angelina collect millions for them...those are the picures that should be allowed.
you understand right, that in real life it does not work like this. Someone who sells photo of children for that amount of money forever makes their children lives public. Angelina and Brad know this game. And it i helps them make more money everytime.

I like gossip but I didn't ask the paparazzi to climb celebs' walls to get their kids' pictures. I am happy with a generic pic. It's the story that interests me. I for one don't care to see the Brangelina kids' pictures. If I never see their pics ever again, I'm OK with it, same about all the other celebs. One thing that bothers me is the stars. They seem to hate the paparazzi when it's not convenient for them but I've heard of some of them tipping them off to get a photo opp. So I don't know what to believe anymore. Do y'all remember when the Brangelina went to Africa and there was that photo opp right after his divorce? It's those things that make me have less sympathy for celebs. Then after watching Britney on her documentary last weekend, I felt bad for her. So I'm confused.
The real problem is.....US. They take the pictures and can sell them for money because we want to see them. Its hard to look in the mirror like this - but its true. I am part of the problem. Perhaps our New Years Resolution should be to cut back on the celebrity watching and live our lives. (I'm as guilty as anyone - not trying to be judgemental)
the real problem is that someone wants to make money. Celebrities make money, and the more they appear in tabloids the more gigs they get, it is a cycle. Magazines make money as well. People pay money to be given to celebrities and magazines. Or to come on websites and perhaps purchase advertized products or provide their emails for marketing(when you register) just to read about celebs. There is a whole market for people email adresses that ae captureb by webhosts, plus the demographic info that is not that difficult to figure out.Web owner makes money on it.See the differnce? Stop blaming people.
No, I don't. They (photographers, magazines, etc) could not make money if there were little to no market for the pictures (consumers - that's us). No money would be made without the consumers demand to see the product. Have you taken in economics classes yet? How do you conclude that the consumers have no blame?

No, if were weren't seeking out the pictures (in magazines, websites, etc) there would be no market for them - no money to be made. Without a market (demand) there is not need for the supply of pictures, and no need for the photographers to go to crazy and intrusive lengths to get the pictures.

I admit I do like to see the pics but I mean the general pics- maybe from an event, red carpet, some place very public from a distance. I do not like that they are like a mob, crowding in, calling to the kids, scaling walls, flying over head. Those vulture pics are what he's talking about.
you know in real life this does not happen. so do they. they know industry well. PAps are not interested in some celebs, not because they are boring, but because they do not create media storms with inadequate behaviors, that in turn brings on paps. Even crazy man Michael jACKSON, was able to keep publicity about him to a min. The reason: he is not interested to be in public eye now. How about Streisand, Pacino, Ellen Barkin, Sara Jessica Parker...we see very few pics of them

All Jolie-Pitts want is for them to be the only ones making profit off their children. Im sure every time they see a picture of them taken by the paps it must hit the bank account nerve, they are not concerned about their privacy thats pretty obvious with all the interviews and photos they have made public what bothers them is that their $$$ is not increasing with every picture of them taken. I can almost assure that CELEBRITIES wouldnt want a law to stop pictures of their kids being photographed but instead to give them copyrights for all pictures so they get paid if it gets published. GREEED!!!!
and another thing is they love to say they put all the money in THEIR charity funds. Wow what a great way to get it tax free. They made 14mil on photos and claimed that money wen to charity. Actually only about 2-4mil went to various funds. The rest is sitting tight in their tax shelter. It is also easy to be generous when you have tons of money.
I do think there is a difference between taking the kids to a photo shooting (or bringing it to them) and the paparazzi stalking them in the streets. In the first one, I would guess that Brad/Angelina talk to their kids (at least to the older ones), explain what's happening and meet the photographer and all is done in a couple (few?) hours. In the latter, they are surrounded by strange people who follow them everywhere they go all the time. That must be scary for them and they are so little. The parents aren't able to control the situation they are in whereas at a photo shooting they can.
You know there are so many celberity's whose kids are going through with this even if they didn't sell the pics.

Some of you are just ----- He is right. Paps should stop climbing fences and calling kids names or indanger children. Taking control of your kids pics and use it tohelp others is a great thing when you can be able to do that. This is nothing got to do with this. There are soooo many celbs who go through this even if the never sell the pics. He is telling the right thing. I remember him saying me I don't care but when you are kids and you are in the privacy of your home it should be different.

look at the top of banner/sidebar on this page that has some advertising and right at the top old photo of Jolie and Brad. I think they are matching their hair color now. Back then it was caramel brown with highlights, not it is fdark brown. Brad is just such a ....such a ....floormat

I completely agree with what you just said. But you know what, this is just another round of publicity for him. All he has to do is to stop comments and dissapear. Him talking about paps will not change a thing-it is a billion dollar industry. Yet, he talks because that will create more hooplah. More shots, more interest, more money from mags for exclusive interviews having brangelina explain us how much of the private citizens they are. Ans then they drop anotehr bomb, and on and on and on...Millions of people have opinions, nobody hears their opinions. Brangelina is not better than anyone else-so it is completely unnecessary to listen to their opinions.

he can't be serious? he can't possibly be serious? if he wants privacy then he should stop selling pictures of his children; he should stop putting their faces on the covers of magazines. o, he wants his childrens pictures out there, he just wants to profit from it. if this was jonny depp saying this then, ok. he is an a-list star and yet manages to keep his life private. well, that is because he wants to stay private. brad and angelina talk about private intimate moments about their kids and life all the time, non-stop. pax peeing on a chair ring a bell? there are just some things that should stay in your home. they try to damn hard to convince the world exactly how perfect they are. after angie had her twins she went MIA. but, weeks before her movie was to drop she was--all of a sudden--seen out and about with the kids. both of them whores those children out for publicity and it pisses me off. children should not be used as your own personal promotion tool. the same with brad: when that movie with george clooney was about to drop, he was seen at the museum with zahara. the kids always manage to stay out the spotlight until they have a movie coming out. how exactly do these paps know where they are and where their going ever second of ever day?
Didn't you just see where a paparazzi put a tracking device on Simon Cowell's car? That's how that pap knew where he was at all times. I highly doubt most celebrities call the paps and let them know where they are. Very few would be my guess.

SO what do you suggest? NOBODY should ever give money to charity ever!!??? BRangelina do not control the money they give, like i dont, like everybody dont. Even if 20% go to the real charity cause, its still better than NOTHING!!!!

Paparazzi are too agressive. They can be dangerous, and until nobody gets hurt...or die, Its not gonna change! I think for security, ESPECIALLY for children, there should be a law.

So if you want to go an watch movie it won't be for the talents actors have, but for their privite life and how they conduct themselves in public? And you would listen someones music not because you simply like it , but because that person life is blown out of proportions by media.

I totally agree with what he says. I HATE the paparazzi with a PASSION. I mean, it's fair enough taking photographs at a public event, but when they started hounding in on personal matters of these celebrities (a case in point be the way they snapped their little shutters at David Tennant's mother's funeral, that is just too ****ing disgusting for words). Celebrities are just NORMAL PEOPLE with NORMAL LIVES and they shouldn't have to be subjected to this. The paparazzi are nothing more than lowlife scum who have no life for themselves, so they feel the need to run around and exploit other people's. People who, might I add, have made much more of their lives than members of the paparazzi have, so maybe it all comes from jealously.
If only someone would do something about this. The celebrities need to stand up together and demand for laws to be in place all around the world. It's only a matter of time before someone gets hurt (and let's not even mention the fate of Princess Diana) and the Paparazzi get off scot free because "it's their job". We need change, and we need it now.
Think about it this way as a parent celeb or not do you want some random person taking photographs of your kids. You dont know who these people are if they're perverts or not. Also celeb kids photos that are taken by a professional photographer for a magazine than some wacko following them and their kids around taking pictures and then selling them to the highest bidder and then in the caption stating exactly where they were at the time the photo was taken. Plain and simple you may agree or disagree but the paparazzi taking these picutres are exposing these kids to much more than the parents... they are making them easier targets for child predators. The UK has a law where they cant publish pics of children until the age of 18 why not here.
