Celebrities Attend The 18th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards

NYC was filled with Hollywood's finest last night as many of our favorite celebrities came out to support the 18th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards. Terrence Howard, Penelope Cruz, Amy Adams, Evan Rachel Wood (who went much lighter with her hair), Ethan Hawke, Rachel Weisz, Jeff Goldblum (who I love with all my heart and soul), Michelle Williams and Jennifer Esposito were among the crowd.
Winners List of 2008 Gotham Independent Film Awards:
- Best Feature: "Frozen River"
- Best Documentary: "Trouble the Water"
- Best Ensemble Performance (Tied):"Synecdoche, New York" - Philip Seymour Hoffman, Samantha Morton, Michelle Williams, Catherine Keener, Emily Watson, Dianne Wiest, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Hope Davis and Tom Noonan AND "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" - Scarlett Johansson, Rebecca Hall, Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz
- Breakthrough Director: Lance Hammer, "Ballast"
- Breakthrough Actor: Melissa Leo, "Frozen River"
- Best Film Not Playing at a Theater Near You: "Sita Sings the Blues"
