Heidi Montag’s own mother only gives her "marriage" to Spencer Pratt 6 months. And she thinks he may have drugged her daughter in Mexico.
"He’s manipulative and seems to have power over Heidi. I
would like to see a blood test from Mexico. It wouldn’t surprise me if
he had her drugged."
Darlene adds,
"Spencer has tried to cut everyone out of her life. I’ve been honest with Heidi, and it’s caused our relationship to
decline. I’m more devastated about that than the marriage, because I’m
confident the marriage won’t work out."
As for Spencer’s response to all this…
"I think her mom needs to take a real fat chill pill and be happy for her daughter."
Seriously, this couple LIVES and breathes for drama. But how would it feel if your own mother was saying these things after your wedding which was supposedly the "happiest day" of your life? The Hills is obviously edited and shaped to play out the way the producers want it to look, but they do a great job of painting Spencer as the villain. Do you think he’s really that controlling in real life?

I completely agree with her Mom. It mus be heartbreaking to see your daughter go through a divorce when you tried to help her. But on a positive note I can’t wait until Spencer is out of Heidi’s life altogether.

I think it’s very telling how the first time they got engaged, he wanted to run off and elope and she stuck up for herself saying that wasn’t what she wanted. Then supposedly, they had a trip and everything changed. Well, looking back on that now, it doesn’t really seem like it, does it? She really should wake up and realize that she’s being manipulated… he got what he always wanted and what did she get? More alienation from her family and loved ones. I’ve known girls like this before where they bend and stretch their beliefs and preferences because it’s what HE wants…. it’s kind of sad really. Even for a moron like Heidi Montag.

LMAO. I really don’t have any words for these two. Mamma, all I can tell you is that some people has to go through it before they wake the hell up. That’s the only way some people learn. Besides, I think it’s the best way to learn. If you go through something you will learn more from your mistakes and are less likely to repeat them rather than so one just telling you.

Technically, this is a post about what her Mother had to say about the wedding and I HAVE to comment! I think that it is a complete travesty that in this day and age, as women, we have made some great strides for domestic abuse victims by educating YOUNG and IMPRESSIONABLE women about WARNING SIGNS and WHERE TO GO for protection. Sometimes when it comes to Reality TV, I tip toe the line when attempting to measure their intellect. Sometimes, SPEIDI really throws me for a loop. They seem to hate each other (or she should definitely hate him for how he’s completely destryoyed her public image/career), yet she never leaves him and GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT IS NECCESSARY to show the public she is happy and well with him. Well, F*** her. Even her own Mother says she couldn’t hide her hatred for Spencer if she tried. NO ONE CAN. So, I have made many conclusions from this story alone.
1. Heidi has traded her Mother, life, friends and career for this leech.
2. Her Mom hates him

Heidi gets some sort of sick pleasure by showing little girls that if you meet a boy who has money, it doesn’t matter how many friends he offends, how far he alienates you from the rest of the world, who in your family hates him, because at the end of the day, he still buys you those crappy 600.00 shoes you’ve always wanted and materialistic security is far greater than emotional stability.
5. When dealing with a controlling and obsessive boyfriend, the LAST place to run is Mexico.

Flame me for this, please. When Spencer was on the Princes of Malibu with Brody and his brother–I forget the brother’s name–I actually liked him. Spencer. I thought he was hilarious, and almost cute. But, maybe I was young and stupid then. Seeing him in The Hills is so revolting. He seems like an entirely different person. And then seeing him in the tabloids, seeing his lame photo-ops with Heidi, it’s all so lame. And, LOL, he looks like Harry from Harry and the Hendersons!!

Of course he’s controlling in real life, look at that quote, look at the way he stands with her and the way he looks at her. Anyone who does not have any care for the opinion or happiness of the parents of their significant other is not someone that you should associate yourself with.
But then again, Heidi is the laughing stock of Hollywood and possibly the stupidest person alive soo…. there’s that.
