Actress Katie Holmes wants to set the record straight about herself.Since becoming romantically involved (and later marrying) superstar Tom Cruise, Katie has been under considerable scrutiny.Katie says that scrutiny has led to a mistaken impression about her regarding her power over her life.

Ultimately, Katie is an adult, and no one really knows what happens in a relationship besides the two people in it, so she doesn’t owe anyone an explanation.
Should we all just relax about Katie, Tom, and Suri? Who knows? After ten years, they probably will be surprising the nay sayers!

Everything she says may be true, but she sure looks like she has totally sacrificed who she was to be whatever she thinks she is supposed to be now. She looks old, haggard, and miserable. I had my 40th birthday this week, and I don’t look as worn out as this poor girl.

She looks absolutely STUNNING! She should get some hair extensions and rock this do! I think she has a thing for Kathryn Hepburn’s style..she used to copy it an awful lot and she pulled it off beautifully. Now she looks androgynous and her and Tom have the same haircut…. sadness.

They are stunning. Katie is like Audrey Hepburn with her doe–eyed beautiful eyes. Katie usually gets her roles because of her eyes. The Batman director loves her eyes and especially Kevin Williamson of Dawson’s Creek cast her for her acting but was so drawn to her eyes calling it the most loneliest eyes he’s ever seen and so perfect for angsty Joey Potter.

She is truly horrible looking, the “glamour” look does not make her look any better. She is a horrible actress to match her crazy choices (not strong). I was a fan of Dawson’s Creek growing up but hated her acting (still do), and she had to know that life wasn’t going to be everything Tom can make it without falling for him and his Hollywood game. Plus, the crap that was shared he asked out other actresses around her age at the time to boost his ego and lure them in with what he can offer in return sounds really shady. I’m sorry, if my husband offered me that kind of life and I didn’t know him any better…. considering how fast she was knocked up…. I’d be called a gold digger. She dated other actors and was even engaged, you forget how to use BC???? Give me a break. Katy has found in her relationship what so many of us search for. To be loved unconditionally; I don’t think some people are prepared to experience love the way her and Tom have. Some of us are so use to settle for less in relationships, we think is the norm; especially women.

To Anonymous @ 2:37 a.m…. You are correct, Vera did not write this post. It’s one of the newbs she hired. I kind of admire how the new person has a mind of her own, but still she should have read this site first to understand the tone so she could do a halfway convincing job of emulating it.
When I first started reading INO a few years ago, there were fewer posts but they were all done by Vera and overall the site was more cohesive. Now we have more posts, but they are done by people who clearly have different voices and it is easily discernible to those of us who are longtime visitors to the site. The site isn’t better, and in some respects I feel it’s worse because it feels schizophrenic with these different, seemingly amateur, writers.
I don’t know what other longtime readers think, but I would prefer to have LESS posts and more contributions from Vera herself. Maybe relegate the others to doing wardrobe finds or guess who’s, but the majority of the content should come from Vera and not these disembodied voices.
Honestly, I’m about to unsubscribe this site from by blog feed. It makes me sad to do it after reading for so long, but this place is simply not the same anymore.
