While she doesn’t mind taking on smaller roles in films she feels are worthy, Gwyneth Paltrow recently admitted that she is in no rush to lead a major motion picture while her family is still so young. The actress much rather spend time with her two little pumpkins, Apple and Moses.
"I haven’t starred in a film since my kids were born, and I don’t think I will. I’ll never get these days back – they’re so delicious and precious, and hilarious, I don’t want to miss them."
What would you do if you were in Gwyneth’s situation? Meaning you didn’t have to work because you were financially sound, but you had the ability to make millions a year if you chose to do so.

Well, fortunately for Gwyneth, she doesn’t HAVE to star in a film to make millions. She probably gets $8-$10 million to take on the smaller female “lead.” Unfortunately for the rest of us, we have to suffer through her whiny voice and lame acting regardless.

That’s what i thought. And she has another three movies where she played a role.
I think she means being the lead. Her role in Iron Man was rather small. She’ll probably do roles that take a few days rather than months. At least, that’s what I think.

I would absolutely take the time with my children. Heck, I am anyway and I sure don’t make $10 or $20 million a year!
I thought she said she’s soooo ready for work! I think the real reason why she say that she doesn’t want to be a leading role because no one is asking her.
Absolutely my thoughts. And she’s completely contradicting herself. Starring in a few movies a year where she plays the supporting role is a bout the same if not more time consuming than being the lead in one film. I think she’s realizing that nobody really cares about her anymore.

She & I have different ideas about what “starring in” means. To me it simply means a star acting in a film. She’s full of it.
And the world takes a collective sigh of relief.
Despite the cause of her not working, she’s doing a good thing. She doesn’t need that money & the kids grow up with her by their side.
