A few days ago I asked whether you all thought that it was fact or fiction that Jamie Lynn Spears had liposuction while (unknowingly) pregnant with Maddie. Some of you said you wouldn’t put it past the Spears family, while others said no doctor would ever perform that surgery on a young girl (or on anybody without a pregnancy test).TMZ reports,
We’re told the story is "100% NOT true" — that Jamie Lynn has never had lipo and would "never in her life" do anything like it.
She’s so upset she’s considering taking legal action.Celebrities suing for false stories is turning into quite the trend this year. But, it doesn’t seemed to have stopped the rags from inventing anything they can in order to sell, sell, sell!
Guys, this is a completely believable story. They do not test you for pregnancy before lipo- they just ask you if you are in fact pregnant. (It’s the same with x-rays and any other type of medical test that can harm a baby.) And since this was a surprise pregnancy, Jamie Lynn might not have know she was pregnant when she had the procedure.
And in response to the people who say that Jamie Lynn couldn’t possibly had lipo because she “isn’t fat” and is so young, get a reality check. This is hollywood we’re talking about- the majority of stars have had some type of procedure done, even if they’re bodies have nothing wrong with them or their super young.
And we’re also taking about a Spears girl here! They go to pretty extreme measures to get/keep weight off. It’s pretty much assumed that britney has had work done and has some type of eating disorder. (Multiple frappachinos with whipped cream a day, and looking skinny recently? Some how I don’t think her body is absorbing those calories, if you know what I mean.)
It cracks me up when celebs sue. They have tons of money, they know that tabloids will say things about them no matter what, and it comes with stardom. Just suck it up and deal with it. If you know it’s not true, to hell with everyone else.
Good for her, these rags think they can print what ever they want with no proof to back it up.
The dog is cute. I was one that thought it could be true. Between this being about a member of the Spears family and the fact there are unscrupulous doctors out there that would do anything for money, I thought it could be true. While I don’t believe in making up stories and printing them to sell your magazine, I also don’t believe in celebrities making a big deal and suing magazines over stories that are really true. I know that has happened a few times in the past when it came out a few years later that the magazine was really correct after being sued. Hopefully it isn’t true, but when it comes to celebrities I am a cynic. I hardly believe anything that comes out of their mouths, to me most of them lie and spin stories to their benefit.
The tabloids come up with stupid stuff all the time but this is beyond ridiculous. No respectable doctor would ever perform lipo on a woman w/o making sure the woman wasn’t pregnant. I really don’t remember a time when jamie was so fat that she would need lipo. Well, this is hollywood and they live on their own planet. What is skinny to me might not be skinny to most of them. But, then again I really don’t remember this girl doing anything so outrageous that it would make people think she would have lipo while pregnant.
Of course it was a false story. Anybody who would believe something like that is beyond me to be honest.
Exactly. Some people will believe anything. Just because she can afford it doesn’t mean that she would do it. It’s not like she has a reason to, she is not fat in any way whatsoever.
She’s too young to say “never”, except if she is talking about doing it while pregnant.

Celebrities have always sued. This isn’t a trend. Maybe more are suing now because the tabloids are just getting more outrageous and cruel in their stories. I pity the people who actually believe this story. How pathetic and gullible you must be. She was never fat enough to have lypo and I can’t imagine a doctor not doing a pregnancy test for this type of procedure.
