OJ Simpson Sentenced To 15 Years In Prison

O.J. Simpson was sentenced to 15 years in prison Friday for armed robbery, conspiracy to kidnap and assault with a deadly weapon. The judge said that she respected the decision of the jury in the
current case. Judge Jackie Glass said,
"The problem is that I can't ignore that the behavior at
the time ... was reckless ... A gun was used ... property was stolen
... and now I will sentence you."
O.J. choked back tears and apologized to the judge stating
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for all of it. I didn't mean to hurt
anybody and I didn't mean to steal from anybody."
O.J. will be eligble for parole after six years. What do you think of the outcome? Are you satisfied with the sentencing?

karma? so what role did karma played when Nicole and Ron where murdered? what were they paying for? or when innocent kids are abused? what role is karma playing there?..nope karma is bullsh*t, this is cause and effect. OJ should have retired quietly and enjoy the rest of his life, he got away with murder.. I mean not even Hollywood can write such a great ending.
Don't beleive in karma, but I am glad he got a long sentence. He got what was he was suppost to get for what he did, plus it makes me happy because I also believe he killed Nicole. So now there is little chance he will ever get out of jail. But he will pay for what he did also when he dies!

So enlighten us yourself. When did your die and nothing happened? Last time I checked, in America we are free to believe what we like.
BTW-have you heard of many people around the world that die and come back with amazing experiences, recount exactly what happened in the OR that they couldn't have known if the didn't see it from another perpsective, people who were placed in the morgue only to come back, etc? That's a whole lot of nothing.

This is clearly retribution for his acquittal in the earlier murder trial. The asshat judge brought up the issue and then handed out a very draconian sentence. DUH?

He was senteced for his role in the Nicole/Ronald murder; not for the Vegas incident. It doesn't matter what he is accused of, OJ will always have the "murderer" brand on him. I really think those men in that room set him up, OJ fell for it. He should of just retired quietly. OJ thinks that white people care for him. They could not wait for him to "slip" up, he did, and now they got him. He is so dumb, he should've just gone away and enjoy the rest of his life.

I hate to admit it, because I do believe he is a murderer, but I actually feel bad for him. I think the judge did try to be as fair as possible but I also believe what he said that he really did not think he was committing a crime. What he did (this time) didn't merit that much time in jail.

OMG! Sorry for him? You cannot threaten people with a weapon in this country. What is so confusing about that that he didn't understand? There's just something about this man that isn't right. I believe he did commit the murders of his ex-wife and her friend, and I think the majority of the world feels the same way (wonder why?). Finding an unbiased jury for this trial would've been extremely difficult. So now I find myeslf thinking that fact might've had something to do with the severity of this sentence - there was no pity at all in that courtroom - I've read of worse crimes getting lesser sentences.
But whether you feel the sentence is too harsh or not, is this guy really someone we want roaming around free in public? Does anyone really buy his teary-eyed plea? Sure, he's sad he's going to jail, I'm sure he's very sorry about that. But really, who's buying that he's this poor misunderstood guy who just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time - EVERY TIME? Not I.

OJ was guilty both times. Money and the media blitz got him off in the first trial but the second time around he got screwed. Las Vegas is crawling with slimeball criminals that do far worse than what was done to those felonious dirtbags he robbed. If his cronies got to walk then so should he but the system is not fair, it never has been nor will it ever be fair. Its a numbers game thats played behind the scenes and sorry to say unless you have big money you and I simply dont matter. Keep your own neck clean and youll never have to experience how bias and unfair it can be.
