On Friday, Cate Blanchett
received the 2,376th Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
in Los Angeles, California. It’s about time!! Typically, we get pictures of celebrities who just filed the paperwork and paid the fee to have their name included on the famous street – but Miss Blanchett really deserves it.
Steven Spielberg and David Fincher (the director of Blanchett’s upcoming film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) – unveiled the star in front of the Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard.
Have you had a chance to visit the Walk of Fame? I went while on vacation for the first time in LA and it was so BUSY. I ran around looking for Marilyn Monroe and when I found her, I became THAT TOURIST. I put my hands where her hands were and took a picture. Yeah, I really love her.

I would love to know what foundation {with color or number} and eye makeup she is using here. My coloring is almost exactly this, and I have a hard time finding foundation that is pale enough. Also the eye color is gorgeously understated.
i don´t know about the fdt she is using but i get the same glow with the Guerlan Parure Aqua,i use nr. 3 and i think their nr. 1 shade is quite pale
I am the same way Vera! I fell in love with Marilyn as a teenager and I imagine I’d do the exact same thing if I ever visited Hollywood.
No one in Hollywood has yet been able to match her level of beauty and that certain something that makes you just want to drink her in forever.
As for Cate, she looks so gorgeous and classic Hollywood here. What a perfect choice for this event! She’s one of the few actresses that can pull off a suit and still look sumputously feminine. Didn’t she just have a baby not too long ago? Ug, sickening – I’m so envious
