But it's for charity! Regardless of the reason, the single life is treating Anne Hathaway very well. Three fans paid $12,000 to have drinks with Anne as part of the Cracked X-Mas fundraiser in Los Angeles last night.
'I'm not usually very forward, but I thought if there was ever a crowd
for me to do something like this, this is my crowd so I would like to
auction myself off,' Hathaway announced, 'for drinks somewhere fabulous
and basically get you totally s--- faced. Tell me what I'm worth.' "
She's worth a lot. But it's all in good fun and for a good cause: the funds from last night went to Trevor Project, a crisis helpline for LGBT youth.
Anne Hathaway has always struck me as being a true class act, and rather shy for an actress, so it's fun to hear about her putting herself out there like that. She's worth every penny!

Oh come on, only 12 grand. Jessica Biel got 30 grand for her fundraiser date a couple of years ago for a teenage accident victim here in Denver. I would rather have drinks with Anne than lunch with Jessica. Actually since I don't drink, I would rather have lunch with Anne.
