Mariah Carey Cancels Upcoming Tour - What Ever Could Be The Reason?

The NY Daily News is reporting that Mariah Carey has canceled her upcoming tour. It isn't official yet, but a source says that a meeting was held with costume designers and dancers telling them the schedule was scrapped.
"Costume designers and dancers were all called Wednesday and told the tour is off. Most were hysterically crying because they were relying on her for a paycheck this holiday season."
The reason behind the cancellation? The singer is pregnant with Nick Cannon's first child. This is still all speculation of course!A representative for Carey says Mariah is not with child.
"I have not been told she’s pregnant."
Well, "I have not been told she’s pregnant." is different than "Mariah is not pregnant" I suppose...

Of course she is pregnant. Altho JLo toured when she was pregnant with twins. She wore some fug costumes, but she still gave a performance.

Oh, I hope she is pregnant. Imagine Mariah as a mother??! LOL! How ridiculous everything that she will do is going to look!! Her pushing the baby stroller in a skin-tight mini, walking in 10 inch heals, and posing in her akward style! Oh, the possibilities! I can imagine her buying a little girl lingerie at 2 months old! Every outfit the kid will wear will have a stinkin' butterfly on it!

My understanding with JLo was she was not pregnant at the beginning of the tour.. and a tour can last many months. I don't blame her at all for not wanting to do all of the physical activity and stress that comes with a tour, if she's pregnant before it begins.

I guess I'd do the same if I were preggers.
How difficult for the employees who were let go. I would hope that she would give them decent severance checks - she can afford to.

To my surprise,I found she posted a profile on a famous millionaire & celebrity dating club ^^^^^^MillionaireLoving. C O M^^^^^^. I am wondering what kind of relationship she is looking for on that site.
The idea of laying off people right before Christmas in a really bad economy for whatever reason, when you are just swimming in money, is really sad. I hope there is some compensation for the fact that these people probably missed out on other opportunities because they planned to be involved in her tour.

If she is pregnant, so what? Why do people want to force stars to confirm when they're pregnant. Same with the gay ones. Why do people force them to come out. If she is pregnant then good for her and for the people who bash her for her dancers, well, that's life. Plus the tour wasn't confirmed so. I got laid off my job and my boss has a hell lot of money, so what. That's part of life.

i am so tired of all the neverending & annoying celeb pregnancy rumors!!! why all the speculation? who actually cares THAT much?? if she is then she will announce it when she wants & when she is ready, like every other pregnant woman in the world... why is the media so impatient over something that is going to be known eventually anyway?
Remember a year ago she said having a baby would feel like her body was ' invaded' LOL bet she regrets saying that!
