We all know the benefits of celebrities appearing on Dancing with the Stars: career rejuvenation, increased physical fitness, weight loss. But third-place finalist, and former ‘N Sync singer, Lance Bass has one big complaint about competing on the show:

Doing this show really destroyed a
relationship that I had, which just sucked. I just had no time
whatsoever, so now it’s time to really focus on myself."

Lance said he was relieved to finally be eliminated because of the romantic problems he was experiencing. He was eliminated in third place during the season finale; Brooke Burke went on to win the competition.

I know what you sharp readers are wondering. How was it a relief to be eliminated during the season finale?I don’t know. But we’ve all been through break-ups and know they’re hard to deal with, so we’ll cut Lance some slack.

Lance hasn’t given up on finding someone new, but he’s taking a low-key approach.

I’ve learned that you can’t go looking for it. It always comes and finds you."

That’s one insight we could all use!And I’m sure we can all sympathize with the difficulties of juggling work responsibilties with our personal lives.Hopefully a new love will find Lance soon.

Gosh, he can just totally dissapear forever. He has a very odd (read: very unattractive) stupid and goofy facial expression.

I like Lance. He seems like a very sweet likable guy/queen. tehehe

I’m going to assume that Lance felt that if he won he would have more responsibilities, appearances to do than coming in third. Which means being away from home.
