Star Magazine is reporting that Shenae Grimes from the new 90210 might be having a little issue with illegal substances. While hosting The Gemini Awards with Jason Priestley, sources claim the actress was “totally wired – practically vibrating”.
“It’s impossible to be that high-energy without some help.”
The 19-year-old is even slacking in the work department showing up late for filming and needing help with her lines.
She’s partying so hard that “she’s been showing up late for filming and is forgetting her lines,” says a source. “People on set are complaining that she’s more trouble than she’s worth.”
Uh oh!Do you think the pressure of Hollywood has finally gotten to Shenae? Or could it be that she is just a young girl who doesn’t have the best work ethic yet?

It’s sad – she was like our hometown success story in Canada. I even saw her at the our local stations fall launch party, and she seemed so sweet and excited for the show to premiere. And now all I have heard since is bad news…she really needs to understand that she could be yesterday’s news at any time. It’s obviously gone to her head…literally.

I was watching her on Degrassi yesterday, and while she was still thin there, she is looking almost completely different than just a couple of years ago on that show. Its quite sad, and I hope if it is drugs, she gets the help she needs.
The pressures of the business and work ethic, come on. She was on Degrassi for many many years. That show had higher standards than 90210. My husband’s friend said that they have to write her lines on cue cards cause she cant remember them. She isnt the only one with that problem.
If she is doing drugs & causing problems on set, they should fire her ass…everyone can be replaced.
She should be grateful for the opportunities & the amount of money that has been invested in her talent(?).
What’s it going to be? A life of priviledge & financial wellness? Or stupid-ass, irresponsible partying that will put you on the road to Lohan-ville.

I’m very curious about this I still watch repeats of her on Degrassi at lunchtime everyday when I’m working from home. It’s my guilty pleasure! I just think it’s sad if it’s true because she has been given basically a winning lottery ticket that many Canadian actors don’t get the opportunity to enjoy. I hope she isn’t wasting it! Who knows, this is most likely false false false.
She wasn’t even hosting the Geminis, she just presented one award. A lot of people did take note of her odd behavior.
