Ben Affleck Joins Operation Gratitude

Ben Affleck is asking for your help. Operation Gratitude, an organization that sends out care packages and letters to US Troops stationed away from home, needs to raise $200,000 by the end of the year! They don't have much time left considering there is only a few days left until the end of the month.
They have 20,000 packages left to create and they need assistance. Click here for more details. It could be a letter, a donation, your time... whatever you have to give.

I'd be surprised if he DOESN'T write them a check. However, lending his IMAGE to the charity brings attention to it, i.e. talked about on GOSSIP BLOGS, so they will make even more money.
I say good for him. I served two tours in Iraq and it was always nice to get care packages, whether it be from my family, churches, schools, etc. It really makes your day better.
Yet he backs a man who wants to bring the troops home and put us all in more danger. He's not right in the head. And I agree, why not write a check!

I agree 110% with Anonymousxx! My husband is currently serving overseas in a combat zone and as much as I wish he was home he, our children, and I all know that it is his and the rest of the troops being over there that makes it safe for us to live over here in relative peace
Bringing our troops home now would threaten all that we have achieved thus far and make all the lives lots for not

This is a FABULOUS organization that I have been involved with for years! My Fiance served a tour in 2004... That is when I got involved!

That is some SERIOUS NOSE HAIR. Good Lawd! I am also NOT a fan of his politics. Glad to see I am not the only one.
He isn't just writing a check because that doesn't get any PR. I think the cause is great, I just don't think Ben is anything more than a media ho- just like his current wife, Jennifer Garner, and his ex, JLo.
