Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale did a little shopping with their two sons Kingston and Zuma in Beverly Hills with the help of a nanny earlier on today. The No Doubt singer tried to keep her baby shielded from the LA rain using a sling and blanket.
It must be so nice to have an extra set of hands when out with the children!

I think it would be weird to always have to have someone else along for a simple outing with the kids. With both parents, why do you need a nanny along for a shopping trip? Do they not know how to take care of kids? At least Gwen was smart enough to hire an unattractive nanny….

I certainly wouldn’t complain about someone having a nanny, because god knows I would if I could afford it (!), but I agree that it’s weird to see Gwen and Gavin bringing their nanny along when they go shopping. There are two of them, so when one wants to look at something, why can’t the other just wander off for a few minutes with the little ones? Or, better yet, why take the kids shopping in the first place? Why not leave them at home to play with the nanny, where they’d probably be happier anyway? I dunno… Obviously I live in an entirely different stratosphere, because the ways of celebs and their nannies is completely lost on me.
Do some of you have kids? Toting 2 kids around is a pain in the ass even with both parents around. I don’t know why people are annoyed by other people having nannies. I would hire one in a heartbeat if we could afford it. Although, if I did have a nanny, I’d leave the kids at home. Shopping is much quicker that way!
At least Gwen has only 1 nanny (that we’ve seen). Around my neighborhood it’s not uncommon for a normal folks to have 2 nannies if they have 2 kids.
