Did Kate Walsh's Feelings For A Co-Star End Her Marriage?

Apparently even people close to actress Kate Walsh and studio executive Alex Young are trying to make sense of their sudden split.  Some people are speculating that a third party, or at least, Kate's feelings for someone, may be the reason behind the abrupt divorce filing.  That someone is Kate's Private Practice love interest, David Sutcliffe.

'Kate really likes David, and knowing that didn't help Alex's fragile
ego,' a friend of the actress says. 'Kate and David had a real
connection playing lovers on the show, and she didn't seem to have that
with her own husband.'" 

Just a week before the divorce filing, Kate and Alex seemed happy at Katherine Heigl's 30th birthday party.

'They were dancing up a storm, having a really good time together,' one partygoer tells Star. 'There were no signs that there was any trouble in paradise.'"

I don't know (this is Star, after all), but I've always wondered about this issue with actors.  It can't be easy to have your spouse kissing someone else as part of their job!  Then again, no one should have known the challenges better than a studio executive.

You have to wonder what in the world would cause a couple to go from
wedded bliss to divorce in one week, but there are so many
possibilities!  From their whirlwind courtship on, everything has been surprising and sudden with this pair.
