Will Smith Donates Over A Million Dollars To Charity

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith donated over a million dollars in 2007 to charitable organizations. $1.3 million to be exact! WOW - how absolutely wonderful.
Tax returns for the Men In Black actor’s charitable Will Smith Foundation
show he and his wife gave vast amounts of money to a number of
religious, civic and arts groups in 2007. Here is how some of the funds were distributed:
- Yesha Ministries of Philadelphia (Christian based organization) - $250,000.
- Christian ministry outside Los Angeles called Living Waters - $200,000
- Church Of Scientology's New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Fund- $67,500
- Church Of Scientology's Celebrity Center in Hollywood- $50,000
- ABLE, another Scientology offshoot - $5,000
I think that is so great that Will is giving back!

No, sorry but it isn't that great that he's donating to a Scientology Celebrity Centre.
It's his money. Why do you care who he is giving it to? People are pathetic. Whatever a celeb does, there's always something wrong with it. BTW, how much money did you donate to charity this year?
Is he a scientiolgist?

I donated over $100 to various charities this year. That's all I could afford.

He can do whatever he wants with his money even donating to a cult, since I dont support the causes he donates money to I wont support or watch any of his movies.

Isn't it great that he's donating so much money to an organization that poses as a church but works hard at doing away with democracy? To an organization that more often than not manages to literally silence it's former members who speak out against that cult by killing them? I wonder what they have on him! It's a shame that a fascist cult like $cientology can call itself church, when it's nothing but a greedy money-making scheme, it's a slap in the face of true believers of every confession. Too bad he and all other supporters of that cult get so much good press. Are those European countries which have decided to expose that cult so much more intelligent than this society?
I thought he said that he isn't Scientology? You don't donate money to something you don't believe in. This does not make any sense to me.
Giving to celebrity Scientology centres hardly counts as a charity if you ask me... I mean what do they do for unfortuate souls????
