Eddie Murphy's Rep Denies Role In Upcoming Batman

This is what I don't understand about this industry. HOW can The Sun write a story saying FOR FACT that Eddie Murphy landed the role of The Riddler in the upcoming Batman if it isn't TRUE? I mean, if it's a rumor - pitch it as a rumor. That just drives me crazy!
Soooooo Access Hollywood caught up with the actor's rep and asked whether or not the buzz was true. Naturally, it was shot down like so many of you believed it would be.
"Not true."
Guess that means Shia LaBeouf isn't Robin and Rachel Weisz isn't Catwoman either. UGH!
The movie, tentatively titled Gotham, is slated for a 2010 release.

Well...THAT is GREAT news!
There is truth to the Rachel Weisz casting, and that comes from Ted Casablanca from E and from Cinemablend and Batman on Film. The sun report only used Weisz name to legitimize the bogus Murphy report.

Ted Casablanca reports garbage. Shia,Rachel and Eddie are all bad choices.
Batman 3 will not live up to part 2. Nolan is even chickening out. Cursed franchise really.
waste of newsprint for lack of news. Dont like the actors mentioned and I never bought the hype of Batman, its a great film but im happy not many awards are thrown at them.
"Ted Casablanca reports garbage"
Batman on film is a legitimate news source that has ties to the production of the films and they have said that Rachel Weisz is being considered. I for one can't wait, Weisz is a great actress and i hope she gets it.
I think Rachel would make a great Catwoman.
