A man in a hooded sweatshirt and gloves “forced entry” into Paris Hilton’s Hollywood Hills home at approximately 5 o’clock this morning, according to a private security guard’s report to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).An estimated $2 million dollars in jewelry and other items were allegedly stolen.
Paris was reportedly not at home at the time.
LAPD detectives were at Paris’ home this morning conducting interviews.Paris’ house is also reportedly equipped with security video equipment.
Maybe private security doesn’t work the way I thought.I know they don’t have arrest powers, but I thought they could stop an intruder from moving around on private property and certainly keep one from actually taking anything.
I mean, Kirsten Dunst’s personal assistant performed a citizen’s arrest!
Well, I’m sure the jewelry was insured and that its loss won’t cause any financial hardship for Paris.If I had $2 million worth of jewelry robbed, I’d be crying my eyes out.Then again, I’m not independently wealthy.
Luckily no one was hurt.

I really feel terrible saying this but I got this feeling that it’s “faked”. I dunno. I am maybe too suspicious of people. Like I think “c’mon, with all her security and the paps hanging around her place…”. I just think it’s fishy. And wouldn’t you have your jewelry locked in a safe? Seriously?

If you own 2 Million in jewels, you have them insured. I only have a few diamonds and some little other peices, yet I have them insured, with appraisals and pictures in storage. I am sure the twit has records and insurance.
I read on another blog that her door hadn’t been locked. If you have $2 million dollars worth of anything in your home wouldn’t you at least make sure the door was locked?
